LOL! I figured you would bring taxes into it. Have it your way it`s American. I still say foreign though. That`s why I`m drinking Kona Logboards. It`s local and smooth.

handy003:
a majority of its shares have been voted to approve the proposed combination between InBev N.V./S.A. and Anheuser-Busch during a special shareholder meeting held today.
Note that is says the `shareholders` voted for the approval of the sale, Those people that didn`t sell their shares for $70 each were converted to owning shares of Inbev. I don`t know the exact number of American held shares of Inbev, But their headquarters are still in St.louis. That means they pay taxes here in America. Enough said.

@Crakrjak

Sorry you don`t have to own 50% of the shares to be majority stock holder. To simplify an example: If 100 people owned shares in Bud. Then such as 1 person `A` owns 40% of the shares. Then 2nd person `B` owns 38% of shares. Then the other 98 people own the remaining shares totaling 22%. That makes person `A` the majority owner at 40%.

"ST. LOUIS, Nov. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc. (NYSE: BUD) today announced that a majority of its shares have been voted to approve the proposed combination between InBev N.V./S.A. and Anheuser-Busch during a special shareholder meeting held today.

At the closing of the transaction, Anheuser-Busch shareholders will be entitled to receive $70 in cash for each share of outstanding Anheuser-Busch stock, and Anheuser-Busch will become a wholly owned subsidiary of InBev"

InBev is majority owner. Sorry as I know it must be dishearting. Still it`s the most popular beer.

walterppj: Actually, After viewing Trufill`s website, their system appears to work differently than what Budweiser has done. The difference is in the cups, The Trufill cups have a notch cut along the bottom edge of the cup with a type of rubber gasket. Budweiser`s system fills directly from the bottom center of the cup.

They are similar ideas, Executed in different ways.

If u need to drink beer that fast, that u get it from one of these machines, I am sure u do not care that they are touching the rims.

(Alcohol will steralise it, hehe)

What stuck out for me was a food vender grabbing cups by the rim where people drink from instead of by the bottom where they don`t have to put their lips.

nice idea, but the cups are probably a lot more expensive to produce, how many of them do you think they would get back??

handys003: Inbev does not own over 50% of the stock, They are the `largest` stock owner, Not the majority. And as I stated before part of the deal was that their head quarters will remain in St.Louis. Thus it is still an American brewery.

Inbev knows that keeping Budweiser `American` is good for sales, Even if it is only technical point.

Sorry but InBev owns majority of the stock. making it the majority owner and foreign owned. All others are minority shareholders.

@DFWBrysco my point was to premeirwondr who though Bud was still an American beer. It belongs to the Belgians now.

Cool, but I bet they are going to raise the price of my beer to pay for these special cups. I also don`t mind waiting a few extra minutes for my beer; especially if it means not using these magnet cups... as if the plastic ones we`re using now aren`t messed up enough.

handys003: Inbev has it`s headquarters in St.Louis and most of it`s stock is still owned by people in the United States. Also August Busch IV is on the board of Inbev. So saying "Bud isn`t American anymore." isn`t really true.

@handys003 - And just what is your point? The 2006 takeover of AB by InBev did not move the plant, company, or change the recipe, process, ingredients or employees - it simply made the AB Corporation yet another subsidiary of a major corporation. August Busch IV is still on the InBev Board and still is listed as CEO of AB.

How is it not still an American Beer? It is no longer an American owned company on paper, but the Beer is still the same. I don`t know about you, but I drink the beer, not eat the paper.

the did not look like their was a valve on the bottom of the cups. OK, i figured it out using my extensive research materials. it is done through two ways:either using magic, or stolen alien technology that the Obama government has backwards-engineered at area fifty one.

Well there is a hole on the bottom with a magnet around it and a thin cap with a magnet around it. It sticks to the bottom of the cup from the inside. When she places the cup on the machine, it pushed the little cap up and beer pours in. When she pulls the cup off the machine, the cap goes down again and sticks to the magnet, covering the hole. Its not that hard.

Lousy beer doesn`t get better even with a gimmick such as this. But yes, lousy beer should be near headless because it is just the alcohol that matters.

It hurts my foamy beer heart to see this piss being served.

Ive worked at arena that have the normal beer taps and theya re really hard to pour from. The lines from the keg to the tap is really long so they have to be really high pressure which means they come out super fast and get tons of head on the beer.

Not as impressive as I thought it might be. Pretty simple concept really but I can see it could be a real money maker for a business selling a lot of beer since there is no wasted product from over flow and it is always perfectly measured etc. Not to mention how fast you can serve up the drinks with something like this.
