First, I gotta say... these guys had great timing! They were right on with eachother! And I couldn`t take my eyes off the moves! :) Reminded me of Saturday Night Fever! They all had the Travolta prance down perfect.

You know that weird state you get into when you drink a lot, and then you take speed, and you don`t know if you should pass out or run a marathon? That`s what this video did to me.

Calling something gay can also be an ironic statement, seeing as its only a slang term for a homosexual and an actual term meaning happy.

For instance, this video has a badass 70`s groove to it, and it does sound like English, but people who feel they need to always comment on someone`s English is gay.

It`s not what English sounds like to foreigners.
It`s country music!

Lol... I`m such a jerk. I told my Marines that whomever can guess the language used in this song could have the rest of the day off... they had five minutes.

Nobody guessed it, but they guessed every language known to man before the five minutes was up.

I am such a bad boss...

Couldn`t disagree more bingo. There are parts where he sounds like he`s talking, but a most it has the tone of real sentences when sung. If you were told this video was in a real language you might believe it.

This may sound like english, but not an english song. There is hardly any rhyming, alliteration, or beat in his singing. Also, because it is jibberish, he attaches no emotion to any syllable. It`s as if he is just doing that stupid adam west jibber jabber.

wow, that was really interesting. it sounds almost as if you`re concentrating on something else and you`re listening to a song in the background but not really paying attention to what the words are. I bet if someone heard this as background noise while trying to focus on something important, they wouldn`t even realize that it`s not real words.

Adriano Celentano is a genius! This song is 38 years old and still rocks.
I was suprised none of the comments here mention that he is rapping years before Rapper`s Delight.

Well, these lyrics work....kind of...!

Preese & Colin aims to my shoe`s hole.

Yo, the coalmen say when
Preese & Colin aims to my shoes hole. - All right

We`re not sayin` the shoe`s by the hole
but we`re sayin` that the hol0-ray maybe it`s the color of boss dye

Brrrr....Checkers in mind, we keep the coal warm,
baby sustain yeah, blue Joe whoa

We`re not sayin` the shoe`s by the hole
but we`re sayin` that the hol0-ray maybe it`s the color of boss dye

Wether it`s the same mind in the car, bee sting.
You never charm another jersey dog, diggin for jam

You`re the commoner chosen, oh fry the hot sole,
oh the hobo gets gettin on the common law thing

Oh the dinner sits down. Why`d the shoes go, my man?
Give the floss divot and call to rainy girls

(oh whip something)

My eyes are sizzling
And they also go with measles
Eyes

You can call me sailorman,
Preese & Colin aims to my shoe`s hole - All right

My eyes, my skin-flick
and they also go with pizza
Eyes

Preese & Colin aims to my shoe`s hole - All right

Well, arsenal slaving, Andy given the scene,
to land the tits on uncle Dolf, whole hearty good thing,
like face dough

We can see him in the saleroom, the shoes become pairless,
there`s two on the car, another four, while the grinder stays

I iced my chancelet,
and the film some go with pizza, Eyes

You did call and made us stay warm,
Preese & Colin aims to my shoes hole. - All right

You dirt she my floozy, kick her out of the door,
less beaver like that, she liked beatin me off

My eyes are sizzling
And they also come with measles
Eyes

You can call me and say while Preese & Colin aims to my shoe`s hole - All right

You dirt she my floozy, kick her out of t

I am certain that, at one point in the song, he said "Have a good time" and at another point he said "take your shoes off" but maybe I`m imagining things, sort of like "Benny Lava" (look him up on YouTube if you don`t know who that is).

ggolbez: Musuko42 makes a good point. I`ve heard several Asians say until they study English and/or German the two sound the same to them so maybe it`s similar for southern Europeans.

So weird. I know that I can speaks english, but listening to that I understand and don`t understand the words at the same time, hard to explain.

Or they have a really bad accent and because of that we think the words don`t mean anything.

"Sounds more German that English, but that`s me."

Probably because English and German do sound similar in a lot of ways (they have shared ancestry), so you`re hearing something that sounds like English, but are not able to discern any English words, so your brain figures German.

This is awesome! It is far more representative of modern minimal techno/house than disco or rap. The beat is more minimal and kick drum driven, the string chord sustained in the background throughout the entire song, the brass loop straight out of a motown song, the subtle guitar funk riff, and the gibberish lyrics which provide more of a drum-like rhythm than anything else. Fantastic!

Thank you sbeelz for posting a much better video quality version! Now I can actually see the moves. I really just like the dancing a lot.
But still, I`ve never heard a dance song from that era with a beat like that. It`s closer to something bluesy than disco.

I`ve often wondered about this - English is a very acute language, but in understanding it we seem to overlook the harsh nature of its phrasing. I`ve literally listened to British vloggers with extreme accents just to experience this effect - and here they did it with nothing more than 2 chords and 1970`s production value. Cheerio!

I think the reason it sounds ahead of it`s time is that a lot of rock bands right now are going for a retro sound.

Oh man I was wrong. Even the music is actually from 1972. Just digging around on youtube shows me that it looks like it`s really from a 1970s Italian comedy show. It sounds like very modern music, way ahead of it`s time.

That`s just the clothing. I don`t recall any headbangers in the 60s. And something about it is a bit off, like they tried to make it look older than it is in terms of the video technology. But the parts with the teacher and classroom look real enough.
After watching it a few times I`m sure it`s modern video. Too bad though, I wish it was a better quality video.

I`m pretty sure the point of it was that it didn`t really use any English words, only things that, to a non-English-speaker, would sound like English. So you didn`t actually understand 1% of what they were saying, your brain just tried to make patterns out of random noises.

Pretty awesome video though.

@Gerry

I think what they meant by that was that it`s not English, but it`s their equivalent of an English speaker saying "bobbidy bobbidy bobbidy" to imitate an Indian. It`s entirely meaningless but based off of the general feel they get from our language.

That is one of the most awesome weird WTF things I`ve ever seen. The weird music is good, but what I really liked was the dancing. Was that vintage footage? The dance moves seemed so modern. If the dance footage is stolen from something I`d LOVE to see the original!
