Golf ball sized, at best.
Unless, of course, ya`all tend toward little tiny softballs.

@TheiaRenown: you don`t remember that front that came through about a week ago? it bypassed atlanta, but you have to remember georgia`s a huge state. it takes half a day to cross it. this looks like somewhere in coastal georgia to me.

Um, where in Georgia? It`s been clear sky for most of the weekend and first half of the week.

Either way, someone`s car got jacked up.

"this video actually happened in Oklahoma"...and????

Pretty intense - pretty sure the windows were the least of their concerns when it comes to the house. A new roof is far more expensive.

The poster doesn`t know what a softball is. I would say golf ball, maybe, but certainly not softball.

Let`s go run in it!!

(Those didn`t look football-sized, but they still looked big enough to make more damage then it did. Surprisingly.)

Ok..I was gonna try to make a comparison between this storm and the Oklahoma strm in May, but IAB wont let me post the like. Look up "A Hail Storm in Oklahoma occured at my High School Friends Home May 16, 2010"
and tell me those two storms don`t look the same.

I must have missed the softball sized hail. Did anyone see that one?
0
Reply
Male 17,512
I did see a few floating in that pool bigger than my fist, Thus I estimated some were `soft ball` sized before they started to melt. Most were slightly larger than golf balls, Though.

unless this is a house of midgets and they scaled down all their belongings in size, no hail in that video was softball sized

I`d guess Texas or Oklahoma.
Every car in the state of TX has hail damage on the hood and trunk.

The thunderstorms are even better... powerful

@wundt:

No, it was softball. They aren`t ALL softball, but it was definitely 50/50 golf ball/softball.

They usually shatter on impact when they get softball sized. This storm hit my house first then moved into Georgia later that day. It was intense.

Still... nasty.
