This drunk woman is here, interviewed just minutes after she crashed into a school bus. Just keep your mouth shut, lady.

is she allowed to be alone with no supervision? let alone driving a car?

HAHAHA the dude on the news said "you`re welcome" like he was the one who told her what the gas pedal is!!!!

what the... I totally posted my previous comment ages ago. Why did it take so long to show up? Now it seems out of context and petty.

none is a contraction of not one so therefore "none of the children was injured" is correct.

Good advice @mykunter, but drunks do have trouble remaining silent, eh? lolz!

You have the right to remain silent.
Seriously kids, remember this. When you are wasted and plow into school bus, keep your mouth shut, and don`t submit to any sort of test. Duh!

splurbyburbl: Ya, no kidding. Isn`t that a cop car in the background? Why would the police let her talk to the reporter if she were drunk?

There`s got to be more to this story...

Well, obviously there are drunk people up in Lincoln Park...

$10 says she becomes the next "bed intruder" song...who knows, maybe that`s what she was trying to do.

Hide your kids, hide your school buses!

"If it turns out she was sober and just in shock, wouldn`t this be considered defamation?"

I don`t think so. Only because she defamed her own character. The interviewer was certainly patient and only asked simple questions. She could have refused interview which would have been smart... then again, consider the source.

The better question is, how did she have time to take an interview? I am curious how someone could hit a schoolbus, the cops and media have time to show up and she is still not in custody and has time to interview? Strange to me. I would think they would test her and arrest her first thing.

This is poor reporting. Why didn`t he state the outcome of the breathalyzer? There`s no WAY the police didn`t give her one. I doubt they were just `left to wonder` her state of sobriety. If it turns out she was sober and just in shock, wouldn`t this be considered defamation?

Seriously Monstiere81?

""None of the children was injured" is correct because "none" is considered singular. ""

The subject of the sentence is "children" which is plural. Thus "children were" not "children was"

Before you decide to correct someone, know what the HELL you are talking about.

Yeah, perhaps monstiere81... but children is plural, sooo was should be were.

She doesn`t really sound drunk to me. If she is, she does an incredibly good job at not slurring her words and not having blown pupils.

I actually know people who are like that even sober, including the $#!+ty driving, so I actually can`t say I`m convinced that she was drunk, although I hope for her sake that she was.
