leave the guy alone. he`s just working. wants a change of pace in his life, let him have it. I`d be pretty pissed if I was told I couldn`t quit my job or move around if i wanted to.

Who gives a fnck? There are so many more important things to get worked up about than a professional athlete leaving some team so he can have a better shot at winning some trophy that doesn`t even matter. U people are fncking pathetic.

If by weren`t cutting it you mean they were in championship contention multiple years, then sure I agree.

LeBron leaving wasn`t just basketball, it was a huge slap in the face to millions of people, a major loss of revenue for the city, and a serious chance at bringing more attention and revenue to the area, not to mention a championship, which we haven`t had for any sports team since 1964. Good teams and bad coaches or good coaches and bad teams, add in horrible management and ownership... There`s a reason we`re consistently voted the #1 most tortured sports city.

DIAF Bronbron.

It isn`t any wonder that people in Ohio are upset with LeBron - he was the last and only reason anyone would want to go to a state that has been called "the armpit of the US."

But buck up, Ohio - he left the armpit and moved to the limp d1ck of the US - not exactly a move up.

And yeah - I`m from Florida and can say that.

Uh, yeah I`d probably leave my job if I got a better offer somewhere else too.

Beyond that, it`s the NBA. Anyone Effing Retarded enough to expect things like Scruples or integrity from that throwback organization of cretins and thugs is a complete moron.

Professional Players DO NO GIVE A $#!+ about the fans. They are interested in money and status and the more they get, the more they want. They will tell you otherwise, because it`s expected, but if you believe them, you are a rube and fail to comprehend the world you occupy.

Do yourself a favor. Abandon the mindless self aggrandizement that the professional sports industry has become and go outside. Your days of playing the game are over and it is a pathetic sort of tragedy for people to waste their time watching such meaningless and inconsequential twaddle.

its true nobody wins a championship by themselves but but thats not saying he couldnt have a legacy..look at carl malone. no rings and hes still a legend. and he had john stockton. the truth is that lebron is a liar. can i blame him? no. but he shouldnt have been like "the cavs is where i belong" if he was just gonna move..n draw it out over a long process. for that he is an non-nice individual. and yes btw people in ohio whine too much

What a bunch of whiny bitches. Get over it. The guy already gave your team 7 years of his career. What more do you want? He originally made those promises thinking he was going to get some decent help eventually. Nobody wins a championship by themselves and he knows that. How would his legacy look if he decided to stick around and allow the atrocious front office of the Cavaliers to waste the years of his prime? There were countless reasons for him to leave.

i`m tired of explaining to people who "don`t get why Cleveland is so mad".

Imagine if the kid that grew up next door to you turned out to be an amazing sports player, but you yourself had NEVER won a game...EVER. and neither had anyone in your neighborhood or your whole damn town. The whole town hasn`t won in decades so you`re all feeling really down and not sure why you even try any more. Then the kid next door grows up and he`s AWESOME and he`s all like "guys, we got this! I`m not going to leave here until we win!" and the whole town is like "poo yeah! let`s do this, you rock this game."

So you try for a number of years and get really close but no cigar. Then the kid gets offered a deal to go somewhere else but he`s all like "nah, don`t worry about it, i love you guys, we`re family". so you don`t sweat it.

Then one day the kid next door is on TV in the next town over and he`s all like "screw those gu

Most famous players move around. However, when it happens that a "franchise" player moves it is usually a trade and not really their choice. Most also don`t keep their decision totally in the dark and only reveal it on a nationally televised special. It wasn`t that he left, it was how he left.

And I think all these people forget that they are from Cleveland. You know, the cultural center of absolutely nothing. I would rather chill in Miami any day.

Awww Snap..the point asked by so many is the cowardly and egotistical way in which he told those in Ohio who supported he that he was leaving. It was all about LeBron and the Hell with his fans. I will laugh my butt off if Cleveland makes it to the Championship game and Miami fails... epically.

Picture this:
Miami & Cleveland make it to the championship game. Cleveland wins. Lebron just brought a championship to Cleveland just like he said he would. I mean, has anyone thought that this might be his whole plan?

I`m pretty sure most famous players change teams. Essentially sports is just teams of traitors. Why single one of them out?

All of those commercials aside, I have never seen a bigger collection of giant whiners than Cavs fans. GET OVER IT and no I`m not from Miami or a Heat fan, just an observer of poor attitudes from all of you turds and Lebron.

Wow... it`s professional sports. The franchise belongs to respective coties/states... not the players. Players should be and more often than not, are, business men and women and can and should do what they think is best for their career.

Cleveland... you don`t own people. Get over yourselves.

So the guy left Cleveland. If you`ve ever been to Cleveland, you`d leave too. I`m not a fan of his at all, but where is he obligated to stick it out in a town that`s booed him (regardless of how much he may have deserved it at the time)? He`s a guy that plays basketball for a living. They get traded all the time. Get over it Cleveland.
