Omg lol that was actually hilarious. I feel bad for the kids though, cause they seemed really scared at one point. That little boy`s got balls though "Don`t you dare say he`ll get me because you`re not helping us at all!" lol love him <3

"I`ve seen a couple of these "jokes" now, and to be honest, I think they are stupid.

One that I saw involved a rigged video game machine in a pub that flashed a sequence of lights designed to put the "player" into a dazed state. Then they wheeled him across the street, and put him into a building, and when he awoke, they reenacted what was going on in the game with real "zombies".

My problem with them is, what happens if the person being tricked reacts in a real way? I`ve seen so many zombie movies, read the Zombie Survival Guide, World War Z, and just so happen to have infantry training. If I truly believed there was a zombie apocalypse happening, I`d have some type of blunt force weapon, and I`d try and kill zombies in the traditional way, crush or cut off heads.(I think anyway, I`ve never had this done to me.)

Sure it`s funny until the victim of the joke really kills someone. How would that fly in court?"

We go the whole nine yards on Halloween & are know in our neighborhood for really scaring the kiddies. Parents are CRUEL! They will CARRY their crying, struggling children to us--while laughing maniacally. I don`t know what makes me laugh more: the terrorized tots or their unhinged parents.

Pui: [CRAP]! You got talent, girl! And your my kind of girl. I`m a pudgy computer geek who does back-end web programming in Vancouver and learning piano. Should you ever decide to dump your current SO and move to Vancouver, look me up. I could write your back-end software (no dirty pun intended... unless you want it to be :-)) and play accompaniment. ;-)

Japenese parents pull this stuff on their kids all the time.

That`s why they`re like that.

That was... pretty harsh on the wee kid, but he handled it very well. Good for him, and shame on his parents.

I held a haunted house one year... there was a fogger and a strobe. We could see out but the people coming in couldn`t see what was there. This one father was coming in with his daughter. The kid didn`t want to come in and the dad says"don`t worry its only fake, not scary" So I let him come right up to me and moaned. He SCREAMED! The kid looked right at him like you a-hole, It IS scary!!

I think the sister could tell it was all a gag but was having fun with it. But that little guy had some real balls.

He is just 4 or 5 and he was ready to throw down. Even when he was scared he kept his head, and his instinct was to gain some high ground and fight it out.

I am not so sure kids from the US would do so well at the same age.

...Hiding your kids from the dangers of the world is one of the worst things you can do for them.

To those of you whining about childhood scarring:

My family home was invaded when I was 5 and a gun was put to my head, as a threat.
Sure, I had nightmares but I also realized the risks in life and recognized my mortality at an early age.
Many people don`t begin to realize their mortality until their 20s or 30s. Sometimes they never do.
It is an important lesson and the earlier it is learned, the better.

We fear what we don`t know more then what we do.
For most people, a gun to the head would result in panic and psychological damage.

In 2006, I once again had a gun to my head. It was during a mugging, where I was pushed against the side of a grocery store with a gun to my head. I was told to stay still.
So I did so, realizing that my best chance of survival is to stay calm.
I was more stressed ten minutes before when I realized I forgot to send an email.

Hiding your kids from the dangers of the world is the worst thing you ca

I give the parents benefit of the doubt to know their kids will respond well to this. The real problem is that now these kids think they know how to deal with a zombie, so when a real one shows up, they are going to be screwed.

Why is everyone today so bent on keeping kids from getting scared? The world is a big freaky scary place. Sure, they might have some nightmares, but they beat back the monster. This will be one of the best experiences of their whole childhood.
