People should not click on this link. When I did my McAfee anti spy ware blocked it stating that site attempted to download personal files from my computer.

the police video tape you with their dash mounted cameras. this was an obvious perversion of a law designed to protect people.

but, what are the states supposed to do with all those video`s of police abuse? stop the cops from beating people up? hell no! jail the witnesses! Much cheeper

"Do the police usually draw a gun during a traffic stop?"

I am not sure of other places but in Portland Oregon they sure seem to kill allot of unarmed people. If they dont just shoot them, they cuff them then kick them to death.

Cops have become the bad guys and you are in danger any time they are dealing with you.

Remember the old line that goes something like "if you`re not doing anything wrong, what are you worried about?"

What are the police worried about?

"Don`t trust cops. Trust judges."

It was a judge that signed the warrant that got that dog killed.

That was NOT an undercover police officer. It was a pissed off jerk that pulled a gun because someone cut him off on the way to the exit.

At the same time: Those are nice tinted windows you have there, Officer...

Do the police usually draw a gun during a traffic stop? That`s pretty threatening. Especially since he can obviously see the motorcyclist`s hands the whole time. And since the biker wasn`t exactly displaying threatening or dangerous behaviour. And since the cop wasn`t in uniform, didn`t have any flashing lights on the car, and didn`t show his badge or anything.

Wow! If you draw your gun I would have to assume that you intend to kill me. That would have been a dead cop in my neck of the woods.

wow... the courts did something right for a change!

The conversation is a matter of Public Record when you talk to a cop therefore not private.
It`s in a public place and not private.
Good call.

But the states are tired of paying out lawsuits for police brutality which is proven with these quick and easy vids. Rather than fix the problem... arrest the video tapers.

This is wonderful news. :) I always thought that that particular usage of the wiretap law was legally irresponsible. If the state supreme court rules this way, the system will get marginally fairer and less authoritarian.
