Except that`s exactly what you did say piperfawn. You said that since he`s a cop and he`s entirely at your service. You said that as a cop others may infringe on his rights if they choose to do so.

If you were to act as the woman in the film is in real life with somebody such as a secretary, you would be removed by security, in the streets if you`re doing that to a riot cop who isn`t allowed to move out of formation to just walk away from you. Obviously he`s going to have you removed from the area so you aren`t infringing on his rights or his ability to do his job.

Btw:

"As i see you are younger than me, is really this kind of humanity that is growing up?"

I`m 25. Have been in full time employment since leaving university. I own a house, mortgage paid with my own money. I own a vehicle, also paid with my own money. I pay every bill with my own money. I am a 100% independent and self-supporting individual, living as a full-time working, earning, tax-paying, educated adult.

So don`t presume to call me a kid because of my age, okay? I am not "growing up". I already have grown up.

@piperfawn

It doesn`t matter what YOU think. If he doesn`t want someone deliberately touching him, then he does NOT have to justify his reasons...to ANYONE.

"You are good underlings to your masters. Keep defending them and see if it helps you when you are faced with their bad treatment."

I have never been treated badly by the law, even when I`ve been on the wrong side of it (and caught, and punished).

Whenever I see someone complaining about mistreatment by the police, I tend to wonder what they must have done to deserve it. Because I have yet to encounter the "fascists" that others claim to have.

I-IS-BORED So by your logic if someone is at your service your FIRST think is that can be raped? By bubbles maybe? Pfff. Obviously i don`t think that we have right to rape cops cause they are at our service and the fact you are just thinking that like a possibility make me understand what is the secret dream of people that live in fear and don`t fell free by obsessions.

And that is the problem! It is the way they think and they get special rights OVER the people they work for.

I-IS-BORED & Musuko42. You are good underlings to your masters. Keep defending them and see if it helps you when you are faced with their bad treatment.

"The real fact is that damn cops are at our service and not the opposite."

so by your logic, you should be allowed to rape a cop

person being cop =/= person lacking rights

But remember i`m not a cop...so i`m not forced on following some procedure. The real fact is that damn cops are at our service and not the opposite. When you understand that you can call you free man. Many cop are good and are really at service of people, but cops like this one are just full of sh.t. They have a gun so they think they are the masters. I hope you will never meet one of this cop in your life, ifit will happen to you pls let me know how you will feel after. I had a similar experience, and i was litteraly doing nothing. You know what the police man say to me? "I know you are doing nothing but i don`t give a fu.k, i`ve power and i do what i want".

Musuko42 This damn cop is bald so no worry for hairs... wear sun glasses and so no worry for eyes ,clothes are not his clothes so nvm. And after all are you really think that bubble is a menace? You think that compare a bubble with a bullet is the same? As i see you are younger than me, is really this kind of humanity that is growing up? I`m sorry for you but seem you are growing in fears and oppression. You want find justification at all cost inventing something about strange liquids or some unbelivabable elucubration and you just lose focus on what is really important in this situation and is the behaviour that is incorrect.I any case if you want to meet me and "bubble" me no problem.

PS: piperfawn

Why don`t we meet up? I`ll bring a bottle of liquid and blow some bubbles with it. I`m sure you won`t mind the bubbles popping on you and getting the liquid in your face, hair, eyes, clothing...

...I mean, suuuuure, I could have put disgusting or harmful things into the liquid. But it`d be selfish of you to think that!

So how about it? Let me cover you in my mystery liquids.

"In any case if you don`t want to be hit by damn bubbles move away."

I`ll just point a rifle at you and fire, then. If you don`t want to get hit by the bullet, you should move away.

If you get hit, it`s your fault.

In any case if you don`t want to be hit by damn bubbles move away. There is no direct contact if i deliver a bubble in the air and the air move bubble to you and. So this stupid officer have to talk with air and say "Stop pushing bubbles on me,air, or i will handcuffs you!!!!". In that case i can accept what officer say...pfff..hahaha!
In any case next time i hope someone assault the scrotum of this mountain of selfishness with an heavy hammer so he can have the right to say what he want. Btw people wake up!!!!! If you are tryng to find a defence for this cop you are just retarded.

Wizard we get it, you`re retarded, you can stop pointing it out. EVERYBODY with the tiniest bit of intelligence, including the police officer in question, KNOWS that he`s not saying he`s going to take her to court for assault. He`s saying "I`m going to put handcuffs on you, these men are going to take you to a holding cell, and then you`re going to be released after a few hours." There`s no tyrant or DA or court or claim of rape. Assault is intentional contact, verbal or physical, without consent. Since he has expressed that he does not consent to her blowing bubbles on him intentionally, her continuing to do so is by DEFINITION assault and so that is the word he uses.

Technically, it`d be battery, but I don`t think American law makes the same distinction UK law does (assault is the violent intent, battery is the unlawful physical contact; therefore punching someone and missing is still assault, and touching someone with bubbles after they have asked you not to is still battery).

If someone expressly asks you not to touch them with a liquid, and then you deliberately do so, you are making physical contact with them against their will. It doesn`t matter one bit whether or not you think they are being unreasonable. They have a right to not be physically touched by you in any way, and you need to respect that right.

Cop was in the right. He didn`t come across as rude to me, not until the girl argued back.

Seems petty? Nobody but the girl has any idea what she put in the bubble liquid. There could be urine in there for all the cop knows. And considering that it`s a protester, it`s a reasonable precaution.

rastaspoon said- "Yes, it`s assault, he`s right, if that crap got into girl cops eye it`s gonna sting."

Good luck getting any sort of legal recourse on that if you are NOT a cop. Know why? Even the responding officer would laugh in your face! "Officer, Officer...she blew bubbles at me...I was ASSAULTED! I feel so...VIOLATED." *sob* "It was worse than rape. IT WAS WORSE THAN RAPE!!!"

Jesus people are turning into wimps. Anyone that thinks that is a reasonable claim of assault has two vaginas.

yay! Rehash everything from the first G20 bubble vid :(

I guess I should call him Constable Bubbles now that I know his particular flavor of agency. I still say he was within his rights to tell the woman to stop blowing bubbles, but his actions after all that prove he is in fact a gigantic douche bag.

I nominate to change his pet name to Constable Massengill.

Assault? Yes, it`s assault, he`s right, if that crap got into girl cops eye it`s gonna sting. Just because they`re cops doesn`t mean they`re paid to take people`s poo on purpose all day long.

There`s a reason that throwing a glass of water on someone is assault, it`s because you NEVER know what the drat people are putting on you. Is it water? Is it a chemical?

G20 HAS to be lockdown security, these people are just doing their jobs and non-nice individual hippy pricks have to come in and bait the cops and be dicks and expect the cops to sugar-coat everything. Stupid, just stupid.

Let the fight begin...XD.

In any case if you have "bubble phobia"you are not supposed to be a cop. Cops are supposed to don`t have any kind of phobia. Pff i know bubble can be such a huge weapon of provocation...some recent study say that bubbles can also be a weapon of mass distruction.....let`s do a "preventive" war against that terrorist girl!!!.

C`mon kralmir don`t put your self in a ridiculous situation.

@kralmir

King $h!t cop says "If a bubble touches me, you`re going to be arrested for assault."

...assault. Really? F**king ASSAULT of a police officer.

Was she being childish? Yes. Was she blowing bubbles? Yes. Was she doing it to be a brat? You bet.

Is that worthy of a charge like Assault on a Police Officer? Hell no.

Would it stick? Yep.

Could you get the DA to prosecute such a stupid-ass thing if it was You? Not a chance.

So really what it equals is "if you touch me with a bubble, I will ruin your life because I am cop and you are little people."

So what is wrong with me? Nothing. I think being a tyrant is wrong.

What`s wrong with you?

I went to a protest this summer, i normally don`t but i had to check out what was going on. It was in front of the israeli embassy. Some teens were blowing bubbles on the cops. One of the cops approached them, and started talking to them. The bubbles flew by, and they all had a nice laugh.

This is, however a bad cop, in the words full meaning. Not keeping his cool. Provoking bystanders - doing the oposite of what he is supposed to... should not be in a uniform. Sorry for you Toronto, hope you anti up and fix the police to serve you like they should.

bad cop? maybe i am missing the whole picture but from the original "bubbles" vid i see nothing wrong.

he is not being a non-nice individual(even though she is behaving like a child) nor treating her like a lesser person. he is being very clear, to harsh in what he said he would do BUT she is not stupid, she know that SHE IS THE ONE PROVOKING.

there is no need for a "please stop blowing bubbles in my face" because it`s clear to him, to her and i hope to all of you what her intentions are. he did not behave like a non-nice individual, he was just making the situation very clear and simple, she chose to push on anyway and got arrested.

that part is on camera as well btw, but it makes her look better if the part of "childish bitch gets arrested after pushing it while knowing fully what the situation was" doesn`t get shown.

you want respect? grow the drat up. being treated like a human being is what everyone is getting

@SomeShoes No it isnt "a shaky comparison" at all. As a matter of fact its prettyu right on. Most Nazis were just soldiers. They were off fighting on the line or manning some coastal gun. They had nothing to do do with the murder camps etc.

But there were many that DID know and even if they werent posted at a camp, they were helping cover for those who were. This puts their guilt at 100%.

The point is, a bad cop can only stay a cop with help from other cops. Thus those cops are just as bad.

True he may have stood there for hours but a simple "can you stop blowing bubbles" would have sufficed. I mean look the the woman cop right next to him, she seems to be fine it seems like she wasn`t grumpy at all

just putting this out there

How would you feel if you had to stand in a line while some douche blows bubbles in your face for HOURS? Would you not jump at your easiest opportunity to get rid of them? And on top of that, he may have a legitimate phobia.

He`s not actually saying she`ll wind up serving time in jail, he`s saying he`ll put cuffs on her and have her taken to one of the detention centers for part of the day so that he won`t have to put up with her being in his face for the rest of his shift.

For the record, THIS is why the founders gave Americans the right to keep and use weapons. People take it too far (and too stupid), but the spirit of the law was meant to protect from tyrannical misuse of power by authority figures.

Personally, I don`t hate cops, I hate the people who happen to be cops. Not many people go into a role meant to oppress (and enforcement is a form of oppression) without a special brand of arrogance. There are good cops, really!, but they`re getting fewer and far between.

"But not all cops are like that" seems to be the mantra of the sheep. Yes that is correct, not all are. But so many of them are that it doesn`t matter. If your only bastion of argument is "but not all of them are like that" then you are on some very shaky ground. Not all Nazis were bad either. Some were just soldiers fighting for their country. And the argument is the same. See, not ALL of them were bad.

So I concede that not ALL cops are bullies. But those that are can only get away with it because other cops cover for them even when they know that their fellows are being tyrants. This makes them just a responsible for such behavior and just as guilty.

More and more people are starting to hate cops and they can only blame themselves for the growing trend.
