I`m not British, but from the British accents I`ve heard, his seem to be slightly off, like his regular accent is getting mixed into the accent he`s trying to imitate. The rest of the accents are very good, though.

@idiotfilter

the british ones are perfectly coherent, it`s the plus of living in a small country, in any one place most people have completely different accents, gets easy to understand a whole bunch

Female 28
hahahaha the US general one? totally Leonardo DiCaprio

A couple of those were pretty terrible, actually. Like... a bit overdone? But good on him for having so many half decent accents.
Also, bonus points and a cookie for `Aliens in Cardiff`.

united states ftw...how can you not say the U.S. Accent isn`t by far more coherent than the majority of the British ones?

lol @ his russian accent....someone`s been playing GTA 4

on topic he is VERY VERY good at accents

it still makes me giggle when Brits exchange the TH sound for the F sound...or V

I think what made him exceptional (for the most part) wasn`t the individual accents, but the variety. I can`t speak for the various British accents, but the various international ones were fair to decent (some more over the top than others). I think his pseudo-stache lent a visual prop to his redneck accent.

I thought the highlight was when he switched to general U.S. English - seemed to be the hardest thing for him to do.

This kid should pursue a job as a Hollywood dialect coach or something. He`s got a lot of the minute details of each accent down pat.

I wouldn`t call these dead-on, but most are okay. The Scouse one was hilariously bad and the Manc one was kind of eh; the `posh` one was awful too. He sounds like he`s from Essex, any Southern fairies know where about in London he`s from?

I don`t know where his southern US accent is supposed to be from, but it sounded pretty terrible to me.

Not that I`m complaining. I can only do like two or three accents well.

Batmanners why ask stupid questions? It says on the video it`s random speech, and don;t pay attention to it, it then gives a warning he swears a lot.

So what more can people say to you?

Male 639
Batmanners, we swear all the time in the UK. It`s just part of our normal speech.

As a New Yorker, I usually can`t stand it when people try to fake a stereotypical NYC accent, but this was realistic.

The American accent isn`t bad, but we never say "take the piss"

Batmanners, I should point out that what we consider bad language is much more acceptable in parts of England and Ireland.

I can only speak for the southern really... it was a little bit camp and exaggerated. The c()ckney one as people say is pretty much spot on.

I think he needs to hit puberty, many of his accents were a little bit `airy` and light to be believable- his voice needs to deepen a bit in some of them. I think you`d have to be English to know there`s something off in the twang

He wasn`t swearing anywhere near enough for the scottish, manc, scouse, roosterney, aussie or saffa accents. And the welsh one was more delhi than pwllheli (that`s for all my countrymen. peace out.)

Very good. although I thought that his RP was a bit odd and the `upper class` was bad, but I speak RP and can lapse up if stressed. Funny how- I suspect, everyone criticizes a different one. Perhaps we all know a true native of our own area?

Of course you can`t do a true Southern American accent unless you`re from the South :P
greguire- Go to Canada, we don`t really have an accent anymore.. and I swear 5cats is the only person in all of canada that says "eh".
Cats is also the only person in the whole of Canada to say "LOLZ!" at the end of every sentence. Which wouldn`t be so bad, if he weren`t in his 40s.

Japanese was poo, mid-western "American" was not very good, and South African was off quite a bit. But I liked Indian and Australian. A couple of the British ones were okay, too.

The Nigerian voice, if not the actual accent, was great.

Female 16
He does a pretty spot on Nigerian one. I go to school with a whole bunch of international Nigerian students and that was very, very similar to theirs.

Southern accent was too stereotypical. It was kind of Tennessee-ish... maybe. I live in a tourist area of the south (but I`m not a "southerner" originally), so I meet people from all over the region. There are as many southern accents as there are British accents.
0

Male 5,194
Americans never say "take the piss".

Reply
Male 12,365
He`s very versatile. The accents I`m familiar with were good enough to fool me and I can`t judge the others because I don`t know what they`d sound like in a person actually from there. National ones are bound to be somewhat off though, as other countries have regional accents too.

Maybe we`ll be seeing his name in voice acting credits at some point. He`s better than quite a few of the voices I`ve heard in games.

Number 3 mixed with number 5 is my accent (more 3) and he did both really well, so I rank him as a honorary southwesterner. Comes with a free tractor.
