"BAHAHAHA. The last line: F&CK OFF is translated as itterashai (have a good way out, have a good trip, etc, spoken when you see someone out the door)"

Oh god, it`s true. Japan has no swear words.

For those wanting a source, I don`t have one but a quick Google image search pulled up this full scan:
http://jphinano.files.wordpress.com/2008/12/2008_24.jpg
Maybe looking through that blog you can find where the author uses it and where it`s from.

"I get it. They`re in Army uniforms. It`s from Full Metal Jacket."

I got it right away as well. Of course, they mangled the line and the context so much that the meaning`s completely changed.

@Aus10816: >>What does she have against her sister?

Not everyone is so ugly that it would be a bad thing to let them f*ck her sister, but I understand from your post you haven`t experienced otherwise.

" f*cking "A"?? do you mean, "F*CKING EH?" "

You seriously never heard anyone say f-cking A before, it was a trend here once when people use to just yell it out and then another person would yell it, it was annoying as f-ck.

Strangely, I have never had reason to use that sentence.

Knowledge of expletives is necessary to be truly fluent in a language, even if only to understand other people using them and to be able to assess how offensive each one is in that culture.

It was never lost in translation. The red haired girl is learning English. This page happens to be about things you aren`t supposed to say.

Notice that after she says that in the comic, the other guy says "chigaimasuu," meaning "that isn`t what you`re supposed to say." (Well, it literally means "It differs.")
