admisaok, believe me, this dog does not "like" to jump up walls and walk along tree branches. He has been trained to do so. ANY, repeat ANY dog will do this with enough training/positive reinforcement.

Do a simple search for "dog agility" and you will see thousands of similar dogs. Granted they aren`t presented in back yards with crappy music, but they are much more refined.

This is what every little boy thinks his dog will be like. However, they are sadly disappointed when it starts pooping all over the floor and their mother starts bitching at them to feed it.

"my god, how unusual and entertaining... a dog... jumping around... they never do that."

because obviously all dogs like to jump up walls and walk along tree branches. nothing out of the ordinary here....

The only difference between Barkour and Parkour is the dog doesn`t do flips or twists.
Very impressive nonetheless.....

I think we`ve sunk a bit far... its bad enough that watching some idiot jump from fence to fence now qualifies for entertainment... but now we`re watching a dog... jump around... my god, how unusual and entertaining... a dog... jumping around... they never do that.

Lose the music, but this dog is great. The Jackie Can of the canine world. I hope 2 things: 1. He get`s some film work and 2. His master doesn`t ask him to do anything that might hurt him, because he will do it.

Why did I find this so boring? I like dogs, even Pits, but that was just...bleh. Must be the parkour.
This is awesome, what a much better thing to teach a pit how to do these tricks rather that how to fight and kill.
Still, I wouldn`t want to drat with him.

It would be nothing for a cat, true, but this is a dog.

Consider Usain Bolt. Is his sprinting nothing because a cheetah can easily run 100m much faster than he can? A cheetah can do 100m from rest in 6 seconds. 0-60 in ~2.5s.

Rewards, probably. Food or praise. The dog seems happy and well treated, so I think the most likely starting point is that at some point the dog did something of this sort and they rewarded him for it in some way. You could work from that. So, for example, one step could be jumping from one raised point on a wall to the next. Stand next to it, tap it, if dog jumps to it reward them. Do that a few times and the dog will probably get the message. If you treat a dog right and earn their respect as pack leader, they`ll do their best to follow your orders.
