Why child abuse, and how could it NOT be selfish in any form? I mean cutting a kids hair in any way whatsoever reflects what YOU want it to look like no matter what the style. An arrow, a bowl cut, or even door to door rapist-looking salesman.

Piercing their ears is worse than cutting hair like this. So if putting holes in their ears is legal, should have dyed the hair green for good measure!

Bad haircuts count as abuse now? My parents could be put away for the horrible bowl cut my brother was made to sport for about a decade...

i bet the kid wanted it but then again he looks kind of young so maybe not. Anyway hair grows back it`s not a big deal.

That is stupid. People who would do that shouldn`t be allowed to breed. If you can`t be responsible and halfway intelligent, don`t have kids.

Zombunny: My parents gave me a mullet in the 80`s. So I`d say, yes, haircuts could be considered child abuse.

I was actually really scared for a second- as the picture was loading it looked JUST like my nephew.

Except he`s nine. But he`s had a mohawk since 5 at his insistance and it was his idea to cut it into an arrow for avatar. Not sure how old this kid is, but maybe he wanted it? I`m a terrible judge of ages.

Child abuse? I think that as long as this doesn`t cause any long-term effects on the exposed portion of the scalp we`re good here.

Who gives a poo? It`s a hair cut, he`s like two. How many toddlers do you know that get to pick out their one hair cuts? Or their own clothing? Or there own friends? Or there own TV shows? Or their own dinner? Is that abuse? Is it not selfish for a parent to get to decide what their child can and can not wear?

I highly doubt he is bothered by it, he doesn`t know what it means, or what it is. Or probably what an arrow is, and neither does anyone he knows. He`s not being hurt psychologically or physically.

So, fail caption is fail. Try harder. Not amused.

Not at all. Assuming the kid in question wasn`t held down (or duct taped to a wall) while this was being done, it`s just a cool (and subtle) reference. Now that the animated series has gone mainstream with the movie - maybe not so subtle.

It`s a hair cut, technically like any other hair cut that a little kid can have, just more "unique". Since his hair isn`t dyed or anything, I don`t see a problem with it.
