Suspicious Plumber Is Creepy [Pic]

And it"s not because he calls himself an engineer or his classy slogan... it"s because he still uses an AOL account.

Even after you cancel your aol, you can keep the email forever. As a business this would be wise, if you`re always changing your email your clients won`t be able to get a hold of you.

"first thing i noticed was the petrol prices, this pic must`ve been taken in the 1920`s"
M reg van. No earlier than `95.

And Gorgack, I wasn`t trying to start a UK v USA argument, I`m just saying I don`t like being lumped in with the rest of the continent. Americans wouldn`t like being lumped in with Mexico and Canada, so I think you should only say "Europe" when its not obvious which country it is. You know, like this one was.

Although I suppose it`s not as obvious for a non-brit. You can at least narrow it down to English-speaking countries and that it`s not America from the words and phone number/number plate. I wouldn`t expect non-brits to recognise a UK phone number, but I`m sure many IAB commenters would notice and comment corrections like they always do. I`m usually one of these people as I`ve already shown :D

At least they have a sense of humor about their job. I know a lot of plumbers who don`t like people cracking jokes about their profession. Come on......you`re a PLUMBER. Has to be one of the crappiest jobs you can have. You need all the laughter you can get just to get through your day.

BTW, I`m loving their tag line "Always in the poo. Only the depth varies"

"Strange than a business in England would have an email address from *AMERICA* On-Line... hmmm...."

Only strange in the same way you have BRITISH Petroleum... It`s an international company that happens to be named after the country it was founded in, just like BP.

"I`m not a driver, but from what I`ve picked up I think that`s fairly expensive,"

It`s £1.10-£1.14 around here, haven`t seen petrol that cheap for years.

@Inter
You`d think by now people on IAB would know that Europeans prefer to be known by their country rather than their continent, wouldn`t you?

That`s England. Britain at the very least, cos I don`t know that area code on the phone number. It`s a uk plate, but it`s an old one (M reg, so 1995 I think) so there`s no indication as to where it`s from.
*googles phone number*
It`s Huddersfield.

And @meepmaker that`s 95p per litre. English plate on the van, english phone number. I`m not a driver, but from what I`ve picked up I think that`s fairly expensive, especially cos it`s from a petrol station which are usually more expensive than supermarkets.
