It`s a frogmouth aka a nightjar. They`re nocturnal and they eat moths and other bugs...

Aww, the poor little bird is so distressed. I`ve seen better cameras sold out of Toy`s R Us. Here is a video of a tawny frogmouth that fell on to some dudes porch. Fallen frogmouth

Christ.. Yes it`s a real bird. It`s a species of frogmouth not commonly seen in Mexico, it probably got lost or brought in illegally. My bet would be the latter.

Do they even RESEARCH this poo before broadcasting?

Time for a biology lesson children, if it has feathers, two wings, and a feathered tail, then it is what we call a bird.

That is pretty cute.. And btw, anyone living in a rural area will believe anything crazy you tell them. It` not actually a mexican trait, it`s human. Remember when people used to believe in each other? Yeah, me neither.

It looks like the "transforming" owl that was on IMB awhile back. When the owl is mad, it looks just like the creature.

A zoologist friend of mine, after watching this suggested Lurocalis semitorquatus, a nighthawk. It doesn`t have scales. Maybe scabies but not scales.

Sorry, not a dragon.

ha ha, I love Mexican TV

The video of the thing flying in the trees is just a bat, and the bird they are holding at the end is probably a nightjar or a frogmouth (both very bizzare looking birds). Also gotta love that the only "expert" they talked to is a cryptozoologist.
