No no, this is even better...directly after her debate, she went to answer reporter questions. They asked her about her bullsh*t claim that illegal immigrants were beheading people and leaving their bodies in the desert (which has been proven totally false).

    Watch starting 1:50.

Oh, it`s so easy beating up on a chick, you bunch of panty waisted sorry asses. Why don`t you beat up on the big dope who can`t say a work without his tele-prompter? patticakes - Obama never once used a teleprompter at an elementary school to talk to kids. What is sad is that ill informed (also known as ignorant) people like you actually think he did, then you spread lies about it.

The Weekly Standard (right wing magazine) itself acknowledges this lie. RIGHT WING LIARS REPEAT THIS.

This was a political debate. THIS IS HER JOB. And she failed at it.

Also, NOW she says she won`t do any more debates. Probably because she won the last one so hard.

madest: You have criticized me for linking Obama to Saul Alinksy and Cloward & Piven. There is more evidence for Obama`s radical links than these supposed CCA associations.

The CCA currently partners with all three federal corrections agencies (The Federal Bureau of Prisons, the U.S. Marshals Service and Immigration and Customs Enforcement), Over 60 facilities in 19 states and more than a dozen local municipalities. - According to CCA`s website.

There`s a lot of people associated with them including many democrat politicians as well.

GE was a major contributor to Obama, GE owns NBC & MSNBC, NBC and MSNBC reporters have been some of Obama`s biggest cheerleaders. Jeffrey R. Immelt Chairman of the board of GE is on Obama’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board. GE then gets no bid contracts for the Healthcare initiative, the Energy Initiative, and the Economic Recovery Plan.

vv For duffy and all those who STILL don`t know reality:
The Arizona government is trying to enforce Federal laws ALREADY ON THE BOOKS FOR MANY YEARS but not enforced because they`re too lazy, incompitent or whatever. Including the Bush administration btw!
By challenging the AZ laws in court, the Feds are basically accusing themselves! All Obama has to do is overturn the existing Federal laws, but he lacks the stones to do so.

CURRENT FEDERAL LAW requires ALL LEGAL immigrants to carry I.D. at all times! Despite madest`s whining, it`s true and has been proven in another thread. Just because it `isn`t enforced` doesn`t mean it isn`t still a law!

So if asking a LEGAL person for ID is OK, why is asking an ILLEGAL person wrong?

Tits, er, answer that or GTFO!

EVERY time I have been stopped by the police, (even on foot once) I had to show ID. This has been consistent in every state I have been in and I guess I don`t understand the argument. Pretty much anyone needs to produce ID if a cop asks you for it. Why would or should it be any different for illegal aliens, or bread bakers or anyone else?

    Can anyone answer that?

So showing a real drivers license, Which 9 times out of 10 will be computer checked for wants and warrants, Is usually more than enough to substantiate a person`s status.

OK. Fair enough. So if you are a guest in this country (and until you get citizenship you are indeed a guest) what is the big deal about having your documents? I have to carry some form of state or federal issued ID at all times when in public. We all do. Its the law. If the citizens have to back ID why shouldn`t anyone visiting? I just don`t understand how this is a problem.

Easily. SB1070 does not say "probable cause" (which has legal definitions), does not say "traffic stop" (which has definitions) - it says "lawful contact" WHICH COULD MEAN ANYTHING, as it has no legal definition.

@duffy (and others) I was with you...until you started sounding like an abusive ass. In the first part (where you were worth listening to) you contend that "lawful contact" is too broad a term. CJ says that language in the bill addresses this.

Does the legal language appear in the bill because of probability? Or to appease the opponents of the bill?

look, I am a very white, English speaking, Black haired, green eyed, tall (obviously not mexican) guy. Of the states (about 31 now) Ive visited, I am required by law to have ID when in public. Why should visitors be exempt from this? I understand that it may be a "green card", workers visa or passport etc. But these are guests. How is their ID requirement less fair?

If you are going to go psycho and call names, don`t bother answering. I have been on the fence but the supporters of the bill seem reasonable in their posts. If you have valid points make them. If you don`t, you call names.

@davymid- I have come to respect your opinion in our exchanges. You are a pretty level headed guy and I bet we would get on well (despite what you think of me here) in real life. Now as to SP, what is the big deal? Seriously man, she made three bullet points on her hand? Really? Jeeze I cheated my way through collage because I was too busy chasing tail and drinking Fosters. Honestly, you wouldn`t believe how tiny I can write and just how much I can fit on a matchbook sized bit of scrap paper.

So if you think she is lame, then cool, cool. Why though? If its over three basic reminders written on her hand...well. Look at any President or Prime Minister. They have a teleprompters and don`t go off script unless they absolutely have no choice.

duffytoler: No cop can just stop you or me or anyone else without a valid reason. Cops just don`t go around asking everyone for their `papers`, You`re really sounding paranoid if you believe they do. I mentioned profiling because the cops can`t stop people based on their race either. There is already legal precedent for both of these based on the 4th amendment.

You`re argument is that the phrase `legal contact` creates some sort of loophole, But it can`t because of already well settled and backed up law regarding how police do their job.

"Illegals" What does that mean? I assume that it means `an individual that isn`t in the State legally`? Okay, I can see how that might work, but doesn`t it have the element of "State"? If there is no "State", then there can be no "State" to be in or out off illegally or legally.

What facts or evidence does anyone have that might be able to prove the existence of "a State"?

B4 the conservative defense league on this site jumps all over me, i actually agree with tougher federal immigration laws, i just dont like the way the issue has been used as a political tool to drum up fear and win relection bids.

@CrakrJak "No cop can just stop you or me or anyone else without a valid reason."

POC- Yes they can and do, they just make up a "valid" reason on the spot. I watch them do it all the time to, and went through the process of learning how to do it in getting a criminal justice degree and going through the acad. We also learned how to "cover" for other officers who regularly "bend" the rules/break the law and how to "buy" overtime with cases of wild turkey delivered to the shift supervisor`s office. To put it bluntly, Cops can and do just about anything they can get away with because we grant them that power without the proper checks and balances in place to "police the police". Just

"So keep `covering up` for your buddies in blue eventually you`ll get caught."

No where in my post did i condone any illegal activity on behalf of the police, I simply pointed out that just saying, "Cops arnt allowed to do that" doesnt mean they cant, or dont do it. Nice Try tho :)

Also, most departments have both an IA division and a CPB/CSM and some departments have 1 or the other. The problem is that both are pressured by the Police themselves to be "easy" on the offending officers whose punishment usually ends in desk duty or paid suspensions.

Not all police are bad, and coming from a family of well trained and well practiced officers I know a handful of bad apples can make the whole bunch look rotten.

I also made a point of stating that shady practices were part of the reason i decided not to further my career in Criminal Justice, however i ran out of space and the 2nd half of my comment was c

These shady practices are SOP in most depts. in the country and probably the world. Watching an officer drop off a case of wild turkey for extra overtime, if i had gone to IA or a superior it would`ve ended up a "he said-she said"...as most instances of "shady" practices. Ever file a complaint at a dept? They take it and "lose it"...as with most evidence against the dept itself. Your obvious contempt for me, police officers or both, in your tone is noted. ;)

@IamBored29- Sadly, police in this country have only themselves to blame for the contempt that a growing number of citizens feel towards them.

IamBored29: Because of their responsibilities to the public police need to be doing their jobs `cleaner` than the average public. It`s shady crap like you described that fosters disrespect for the police and puts their fellow officers in danger.

But actually I believe you are stating rumor rather than actual fact. Bribing a police officer is a felony and would`ve amounted to more than just `desk time` if that person had been caught.
Trying to use the `corrupt police` claim to argue against any one law fails miserably because it would mean that having any law at all would be useless. A smart cop, Corrupt or otherwise, Wouldn`t do something that could be easily proven like racism, bigotry, or filing a false report.
