The US government plebes, and corporatists are in need of "big, scary" enemy to get people (American voters) to give them power to take away the power of the American voter. The Koch brothers, and Goldman Sachs are two examples of corporations attacking the government and the taxpayer respectively. And with sold and bought politicians keeping the money tap wide open for the wars of occupation going to bleed the military dry.

Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein are phantoms of CIA operations of the past, that were cut loose when they ceased be politically useful.

Of which both became headaches to recent administrations. Bin Laden is made to useful again, but other a full fledged threat to American oil interests and was "removed" from influence.

As things stand now, the biggest Threat to American `might` in the world is from with in America it self. The saving grace for the States right now is it money is used as a global standard, but eve

Em... we won`t catch him because the gov`t won`t allow that... we`ve already been in many situations where we could have easily nabbed him, but when troops requested to do so they were told no... he is kept alive for politcal reasons... do some research, read some military reports, i poo you not.

Let me put this soewhat simply....The American Government will not find nor defeat this man...WHY?

Because nearly ALL of our victories have been against Megalomaniacs. It is easy to rally the entire population behind a war to dethrone a megalomaniac. They are phsychotic, murderous, unrelenting and unwilling to share power. it is their and theirs alone.

Now Bin Laden. He is not such a person. His power is shared by many. He does not Reign supreme. He does not demand the respect or adoration of others. For this reason it has been to his advantage to fight against those his people deem imperialists. it is also this reason why the American Government has FAILED to rally its people behind the war. This isnt Germany. This isnt Korea. This is a man who many believe is fighting a Holy war. It is also these same Muslims that have turned it into a Holy War. We didnt go to war against muslims. Muslims just happen to be the people that follow the person that supposedly attacked u

Does not matter if he will be caught or not, Karma always comes back, and when he dies, no matter how, he will probably come back multiple times as a slug in a pre-teens back yard, getting salted over and over again.

The government could easily capture bin laden if he was a real threat. He isn`t, the government just loves their people to be in a state of threat as they get what they need out of it.

Capturing Osama Bin Laden will solve nothing. If we do indeed capture him who is to say that there isn`t another person just as crazy or even crazier than him. Its like taking a drug dealer off the streets, eventually someone else will take his place. We are failing the "War on drugs", the prohibition was a complete failure. Oh and then there`s this $$$$

God bless America.

34.83% of I-A-Bers believe in conspiracy theories. I assume they also believe in UFOs, "Nessy", and The New World Order.

`New world order` is a quote GW Bush and his father used on many occasions...Tony Blair, Gordon Brown have all talked about this goal in previous speeches...

Everybody wants us to think "old poor decrepit Osama living like a rat in a cave with kidney disease he`s probably dead," I say hogwash. He`s living like a king wherever he is. Around dirt poor farmers who revere him. $50million reward would go a long way in that part of the world yet he remains free. Don`t believe the hype. Osama is alive and well and living like a king.

wasn`t he from a rich family and gave it all up to fight `imperialism` with other muslim fighters?...He could have lived like a king already but didn`t.

That`s nothing like what Dax said.

Dax is clearly repeating the old propaganda of "Palestine, a land without people for a people without land" and pretending there were no Palestinians.

There was a Palestine, of course there was, and even your link which I`ll pretend is perfectly neutral. (seriously, what`s your problem with the Wikipedia sequence of events?)

Even it says, like I do, that the British mandate talked of Palestinians, and allowing Jewish habitation in Palestine. All before 1968.

I think if we did a world wide poll of who thinks the American government attacked its own people to be able to invade Iraq then I seriously think that 50-75% of the population would think it. I`ve looked up everything about the attacks on 9/11/01 and everything just seemed implausible from the very start. Even as a child I never thought that 747 jets could bring down such massive buildings. As I read on and found out more and more about it I couldn`t believe that Americans weren`t at the least demanding their government release all the information and footage to the public. What would there be to hide from the American public and the world if the bullshat story they came up with is true. They feed you complete bullshat and everyone believed and went along with it. I know a country has to have trust in their own government but everything, absolutely everything that happened on September 11, 2001 is questionable. In short, get your head out of the sand and see the truth infront of you.

I think what Dax is trying to say is best described Here.

It was the British that split `Palestine` into 2 countries Jordan and Israel. This was the original `2 state` solution and it didn`t work.

Man, Jerusalem must have been a happening place if it`s the centre of worship for quite a few large religions. It`s almost like right, that these guys heard a poo good story and passed it on by word of mouth as they went on their trade routes to the east or whatever, then had some people clue in to the fact they would get free stuff if they talked bollocks. Then they clued onto the fact that if you write down this bollocks and get people to pay / donate to you to continue telling other people alot of bollocks that you can make a pretty good living out of it but they became -so good- at talking rubbish that people started thinking it was true, and it gave them somewhere to vent about their troubles and worries. Years of dilution and idiocy later and millions have died in the name of a good story with Jerusalem at the centre because back then it was awesome and now just contains alot of really good liars, that don`t even know they lie most of the time.

Furthermore, when you talk about 1968 being an important date... no, the idea of an independent Palestine is earlier than that.

And it predates the Jewish resurgence.

"The Palestine position is this. If we deal with our commitments, there is first the general pledge to Hussein in October 1915, under which Palestine was included in the areas as to which Great Britain pledged itself that they should be Arab and independent in the future"

- Lord Curzon under British Mandate

The talk is always of Palestine, not of Israel. This isn`t 1968.

Dax:
The Jews were wiped out in Israel by the Byzantines who banned them from returning in the 4th until the 7th century.

The Persians with the aid of the Jews attacked and conquered the city, and held it for a decade or two.

Byzantines came back and wiped out and banned the Jews again.

Islamic Caliphate took it back 638AD. Allowed Jews back in.

1099 Fatimids killed Muslims and Jews. This was the last major Jewish settlement.

1187 Saladin takes it back. Allows Jews back in.

1244 Khwarezmian Tartars take it over. Jews out.
1247 Ayyubids take it over. Jews in.
1250-1507 Mamluks, no idea about Jews.
Followed by Ottomans till 1900s.

So when you say indigenous. You are lying. they were wiped out. A millennium ago. Not by us.

Look at ANY map of the world from BEFORE 1947. The area in question has been known as Palestine for thousands of years.

It wouldn`t be hard for someone to remain hidden in Afghanistan hiding in the caves from place to place with a single body guard. Which is What Osama was used to when fighting the ruskies.

However their is evidence to suggest he has passed away including a Afghani newspaper which did an obituary, but like others have said it`s a massive propaganda coup to have him alive so they wouldn`t say he was dead even if he was.

Hence undecided I think its plausible he is alive or dead...

Pretty much dead IMO.

Various pieces of evidence suggest this, including little details like the fact that his last video showed him talking about old events in moving video, then a freeze while he talks about modern events.

OBL alive is a great propaganda tool for Al-Q amongst themselves. Him being alive shows America as being weak.

They haven`t been able to produce any substantial evidence of him since 2006.

Dead.

No information is kept `secret` from the president, Anyone caught keeping such `secrets` from the president would be guilty of treason. I`m sure this is something the Obama administration has already looked into and found nothing. Otherwise he would`ve acted upon that lack information and started an investigation.

I`m pretty sure Obama is not privy to the information that Bush ordered be kept secret.

Anyway, the man "in charge" is Obama, and the man "responsible for everything" is, depending on your point of view, either no one or God.

So, no, I don`t think we`ll ever capture the man either in charge or responsible for everything.

I believe he died long ago and one of the several decoys he had has now taken his place.

He reportedly needed kidney dialysis regularly, But snopes.com says that`s `undetermined`. If he did need dialysis that would be nearly impossible to do outside of a clinic or hospital.

Either way, He has people willing to die to protect him from harm and even use a substitute(s), If necessary, To keep his name alive.

I don`t believe the accusation that the US keeps him alive to remain at war, If that were true then that would mean that Obama is in on this supposed grand deception as well, and I just don`t see him doing that.

in one way to could be right because just because you catch him doesnt mean al qaeda is defeated and dead because another terrorist will probably take over but also in a way you could be very wrong.

catching bin laden could and probably will have a major effect on the american population, all the people that lost a loved one on 9/11 will definitely feel some sort of justice has been brought to them. it will be a major uplifter to us and to our allies supporting us
