He`s a dump-truck full of lard shoehorned into an unhappy suit.

"And the Heckler`s response is: (Not given the opportunity)

It`s the people that don`t listen that`s dividing this country

lawlz."

And he was spamming whatever he was saying for a good minute before he was interrupted. Go ahead and spam something here on the forum and see if you don`t get shut down by IAB. See my point? You can provide your argument in a tactful, intelligent and professional manner and be taken much more seriously than a heckler would.

Anyone else find it alarmingly sad the if you have a political figure that doesn`t say anything, they are considered weak. But, if the person defends themselves, they are considered oppresive. I cannot prove it, but I would be willing to bet the same people that dog this guy for speaking his mind (and being tactfully stern about it), are the same people who love it when others do the same.

Two things:
1) You`ve lost your right to ever correct anyones spelling or sentence structure with that one.
2) Governor Christy is a republican not a teabagger.

@ Edimessic -- haha his backup-quote from the book of `101 political cliché quotes` was already taken "YES WE CAN!" But then again, saying that would`ve just pissed off the other dude even more.
Ask not what your country can do for you.. but what the `Megaphone Surplus Store` can do for your country`s candidates!

"says the guy with the microphone and bigass speakers"

Who held his tounge until he realized (much like anyone with a brain) that this jerk(off) wasn`t going to shut up and will just continue to heckle the lady... so he spoke up.

I love this guy, he is one of the most sensible people in politics today. This says it all...

He could be a jerk in the tea party, that whole thing could of been a plant... but I wish more people in this country sincerly thought it`s time to stop being divided and come together for the good of the country. I`m tired of this "right wing - left wing" nonsense.

Governor Christy read that in a book and rehearsed it for months waiting for the oportunity to use it. He`s much to big of a tool to blurt that out off the top of his head,

Male 2,514
But Governor Christy, the only reason you`re not yelling and screaming back is because you have a microphone.

kinda easy to do with a mic.

I can see both sides here. I assume there was some Q&A time, the dude shoulda waited to ask a question calmly and politely. If the governor (candidate?) wanted to improve his image more, he would have responded directly to the dude`s comment with logic and reasoning.

Genocyde: This guy in the blue shirt yelling wasn`t trying to ask a question, He was trying to disrupt her speech. That`s a lot different than waiting for the appropriate time for questions and answers, Like normal people do.

::He didn`t give the guy a chance to say what he had to say. Seems kind of a pussy way out if you ask me.
And besides, it seems to me that it`s not only a citizen`s right to question his / her leaders, it`s an obligation.

Agreed! And these sorts of rallys are where you can hear and discuss things with the candidate. So the fat guy is saying "Shut the hell up and we`ll tell you what you`re suppose to think!" Great. ::

I couldn`t have put it any better

From what I understand the heckler was saying things about how the female looked like a man after a sex change etc. Christy is a pretty hard core supporter of education etc and seems to be sincere. Even if he is doing all this stuff for schools just to be popular, he is still moving in the right direction.

`it`s people who raise their voices...` you lost me once you called this guy a person who raises their voice, LOTS of important people throughout history were people raising their voice

There`s a difference between someone legitimately questioning and someone being a heckler.

To begin with, legitimate questioning usually involves being polite and waiting for the opportunity to speak.

Heckling, on the other hand, is basically just yelling in a desperate attempt to throw the person speaking off track.

Think "Don`t Tase Me Bro!" guy...

It`s easy to say that people who raise their voice are wrong when you have a f*cking microphone!!

Maybe he had a legitimate complaint. I can`t believe anyone would stick up for any politician after all of the BS spending they do.
