    Yes, the wings are held rigid by blood vessels, very similar concept to a boner.

    It`s not pee, it`s meconium - basically metamorphosis produces waste products and these are excreted after eclosion from the pupa

    and if uninterrupted a caterpillar has a 100% success rate of transforming into a butterfly with no mutations or defects.
