Lawl. She was complaining the the judge overruled California`s Prop 8 because it`s unconstitutional. She should understand that the population of California shouldn`t have been given the power to decide what rights a separate group of Americans get and that, yes, a judge can overrule "the will of the people."

I`m opposed to Prop 8, but your argument makes no sense.

I think I phrased that awkwardly. I meant to say how it was unfair how the entire population of California could vote on a the rights that would only directly affect one particular group of Californins (In this case, homosexuals.)

She seemed polite and courteous to someone who had a massive sign saying "Worst governor ever", because she doesn`t like her status in the US as a national politician rather then State now. After gauging her argument and that she wasn`t going to change her mind , disagreed with her respected her right to protest and left it.

I think this should happen more often, you`ll get less busy body protesters complaining about every little thing.

So it`s unfair all around, but I think it mostly affects homosexuals. There are obviously more homosexuals who want to have a gay marriage than heterosexuals who want to have a gay marriage.

The reason why Sarah Palin stopped being governor wasn`t for "money and fame", it was because she kept getting sued. She needed to go out and make money because of the court costs.

"Palin owned her by not running away. "

How it simply "not running away" "owning" someone? If someone spat every insult they could think of at me and I just stood there, would that be me owning them? Even if I came back with a few dumb remarks? No. Someone could be absolutely destroyed in a debate and not run away, that doesn`t mean they won the debate.

This `teacher` is being a troll. She complained about Sarah `wanting attention`, Yet she makes this huge sign wanting attention herself. Also, She complained about Palin leaving as governor of Alaska, Yet when Sarah said, "Oh, So you wanted me as governor" this `teacher` checked herself and said "I wanted you to honor you obligations" (In other words, I didn`t vote for you, I didn`t want you as governor and I didn`t want you to be a Vice-Presidential candidate either.)

False indignantcy and attention whore fail on the part of the teacher.

Palin exposed this woman for who she really was and won this hands down.

    ------------------

Seriously? It has nothing to do with her being a republican. People give her a hard time for the same reason that they gave Bush a hard time: because she`s a f*cking moron.

A friendly bit of advice to my republican colleagues, from a liberal: If you want to have ANY chance of winning the next election, do NOT have Sarah Palin on your ticket. That`s a default win for the Democrats. I think Matt Damon summed it up best in the run-up to the last election.

Yet when Obama does moronic things the race card gets played repeatedly. Palin could run circles around your man the supposed `constitutional scholar`.

Also, Where are you liberals when people make obvious sexist references toward her ? I thought your democrat party was all for feminism and women`s rights. But when a strong conservative women gets attacked with sexist smears and comments all the feminists seem to run and hide.

I don`t really give a crap either way, perhaps it`s a side effect of living in the UK where our political parties are basically only differentiated by what colour tie they are wearing.

However, if you believe that Palin is competant enough to actually run anything then you genuinely frighten me.

She has proven herself time and time again to be an absolute imbecile and you are incredibly misguided if you think otherwise. But judging from a lot of the comments that I`ve seen you make on iab, "incredibly misguided" is probably the nicest thing anyone has said about you.

GHudston: She ran the state of Alaska quite well and had the highest approval rating of any Alaskan governor.

Obama`s approval rating is in the low 40%.

Palin`s approval rating in Sept. 2008 was 86% among independents, and 75% among Democrats. This was before the Obama spin machine and liberal media colluded to smear and destroy her by any means necessary.

Man republicans are sheeple.. They just Love this chick. She has never done anything worth noticing. Never heard of her until she was nominated for VP in a losing campaign. Running Alaska is not like running any other state so to say she did a good job in Alaska is like saying a genius aced his kindergarten test. BIG DEAL. Try to do something for the American people before you decide that you are our representative. I know why republicans lover her so much. I mean when was the lst time you had a fox news corespondent who wanted to run for office. The closest thing they can get to Glenn "crybaby" Beck, or Bill "I won`t let anyone else talk" O`reilly

They vote for her because she can stir the pot not because she can get stuff done. Please don`t try to use Alaska as a example that state does not represent any part of America. I resent that fact that is where she says the "Real Americans Are" Like she would know. When she becomes a REAL AMERICAN and actually supports her country instead of doing anything she can to get on TV and bad talk the president with her opinions a real america you say? I think not.

Luniz82: Running Alaska is not like running any other state...

You`re correct, Alaska is the biggest state in the union with a lot of resources, Hard working people, And some of the harshest weather on the planet.

...BIG DEAL. Try to do something for the American people before you decide that you are our representative.

She is trying to do something for the American people right now with the Tea Party. She realized this country needs leadership and she`s taken a leadership position.

By the way, Just what did Obama `do for the American people` except serve 2 years as a senator before he decided to run for president ?

Sarah Palin would be an excellent President, clearly has all the qualities of a great leader, and through the Tea Party she`s clearly representing the "Real America". Tell you what, you guys should run Palin as the republican presidential candidate at the next election. Let us know how that works out for ya.

you can go F yourselves. you just said i wasn`t a real american.

i want a politician that will actually look at america as many types of people, and not one that tries to tell me that if i dont believe what they do, i`m evil, or unpatriotic, or whatever.

+, i`m not about to vote for someone that quit her job as governor especially when the state they where running has surplus money, for my president when we need someone that wont back down in the face of adversity.

also, someone yabbering about american values when she has an unwed teenage mother for a daughter- really???????? this bothers me, obviously she wasn`t the role model she should have been for said child.

The Palin girl had her baby. B.O. flat out said if one of his daughters got knocked up "she shouldn`t be punished with a baby", i.e. abortion. Between a family that stands up and takes responsibility for their mistake vs. one that cops out and murders a fetus, I`d rather live in a country of the former.

I`m trying to think of the last time a major oil company paid a dime to a republican candidate`s campaign.

Nope can`t think of one. They all contribute to DEMOCRATS because they know if they don`t, they will get shut down. Oil doesn`t contribute to republicans (or any other party) because they know republicans favor job growth, not wholesale job killing.

@JeffBeau: Actually, when B.O. said he doesn`t want his daughters punished with a baby, he was talking about contraception. He was making a speech about teaching children about abstinence and morals, and contraception. He said that he is going to teach his daughters morals first, but if they make a mistake, he doesn`t want them punished with a baby, i.e. if they make the mistake of having sex too soon, they should at least use contraception. I know this because he said he doesn`t want them punished with a baby OR an STD. Hence, using contraception. As he said right before that statement.

You should listen to the whole speech before you make a judgment.

Right AJ. Every life is a blessing. Whence it come from a drunken frat party, or a rape, a new life is no punishment. Teenage girls who find themselves knocked up should consider themselve blessed. Right?

Not advocating abortion here, but maybe a bit of contraception would be in order?

I`m a father of a daughter myself. If my daughter came home one night and told me she was pregnant to some random she met at a party, I`d be dissapointed. But then I`m not the one on a pedestal telling others about "Family Values". Sarah Palin can`t even install family values in her own kids, why in the name of f*ck would I trust her to run a nation?

Sarah Palin is even more retarded than Bush. Accept it. She really is, and that`s a tall order.

Republicans, in the spirit of fair play, seriously, dump this moron.

Nobody said teenage girls who wind up pregnant were in good shape. Don`t get me wrong. Read the context.

B.O. said IF THEY GOT PREGNANT. This is post "need for contraception". He either made a Bush drat up of words, or he`s an insensitive prick, who advocates drating and killing the result instead of dealing with it.

CJ you miss the point entirely. She has the typical republican hypocrisy of wishing to dictate to the American people how to raise their children. In this case "absitinence only" when it didn`t work in her own family. She is a peabrain no surprise you defend her.

Maybe if she had taught her children about contraceptives she wouldn`t be such a hypocrite.

"According to the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics, Republicans receive far more campaign money from the oil and gas industry than do Democrats.

So far in 2010, the oil and gas industries have contributed $12.8 million to all candidates, with 71% of that money going to Republicans. During the 2008 election cycle, 77% of the industry’s $35.6 million in contributions went to Republicans, and in the 2008 presidential contest, Republican candidate Sen. John McCain received more than twice as much money from the oil and gas industries as Obama: McCain collected $2.4 million; Obama, $898,000.

This is a decades-long trend, the center says: Since 1990, oil and gas companies have donated $238.7 million to candidates and parties, with 75% of the money going to Republicans.

Palin is not doing anything for Americans she is jumping on the republican bandwagon and bad talking the president at EVERY TURN. Yes Alaska is big. That does not mean that if faces any of the challenges that California or Texas faces and those are SMALLER states then Alaska. She is just talk. If she was really about the America people why would she join a News organization that does not care about the truth but only cares about pushing the republican agenda. If you are for the America people why would she do that? Yeah that is what I thought she is just in it to make money and become famous. her and her family in no way represent any part of America I have been to. What has Obama done for the county really?? I could list the numerous bills he has passed to help the american people but you would just state "facts" you heard from fox news (which is the farthest from the whole truth you can get) Obama has done more for this country then she has done for her "real

I would vote for the people looking to throw me in the poor house. The republicans know how to spin things to get the sheeple on board. Voting rebulican is like shotting yourself in the foot.
