I`ve always hated these step by step drawing guides. It always starts with "Draw some cirles" then it goes into adding lines, okay fine. Then after you get past the really simple stuff, they cram all of the reaaaaly difficult stuff into two steps.

But you get to color afterwards.

1. Draw the basic shapes.
2. Erase and draw in detail.

I had so many of these books. I would always end up with a warped pile of pooty lines and circles.

@GiveChase

The circles are supposed to be very light so you don`t see them in the final picture. You just use them as a guide. You shouldn`t have to erase them because you draw the darker picture over the top of them.

Heh! Funny. Like the instructions for making a totem pole - "Carve away everything that doesn`t look like a totem pole."

Seriously, I never understood those "draw this snowman thing first!" tutorials. No eraser is strong enough to make away with those damn lines!

Stupid snowman owls and dinosaurs.
