Email for assistance? Yeah, cause moving a computer`s height is oh-so-hard. Unless maybe you would need help getting rid of spock ears and turning into a black woman from a white vulcan.

What about the disabled? Or those with bad backs? Or if they`re using heavy CRT monitors?

    Numbnuts.

Uhura was, and still is, THE QUEEN of the Trek Universe, IMHO. Smart, sexy, and ergonomically correct. Can`t beat it.

But in all fairness maybe Spock`s monitor was at an ergonomically correct placement for a Vulcan.

It`s actually healthier for people to work standing up. Sitting down for long periods, particularly over the course of years, leads to things like lower metabolism (due to being sedentary), varicose veins, blood clots, and all of the troubles associated with those things. Spock would theoretically be healthier in the long run, as he does a lot more moving around on the job. And Spock is more fit in his older age than Uhura. :P

@green batman- spock is also a green blooded vulcan whos life span and age cycle is a lot longer and slower than a human`s i figure that has to be a factor too.

That`s awesome. :) Makes me think of a lamebook post that had "Dear Twilight Fans, Thanks for finally making us look sane. Signed, Trekkies." Haha It is funny because it is so true.
