No Tenacious D? Their melodies and bum Venice Beach antics are classic!

I do love Union Station, but I would never classify them as "kick-ass."

There are so many things missing from this list.
If they were going to go as obscure as "Welcome to the Dollhouse", they should have also included Fangora`s band in the movie "Dummy". Played by Milla Jovovich, Fangora will do anything to get her punk band work, even learning Yiddish to do klezmer music for a wedding:
Fangora sings Mezinka

I so can`t believe they left out "Eddie and the Cruisers"

And for wickedsngr, I`m not sure which drugs you`re on, but This is Spinal Tap IS number one, from what I can tell.

"How could Jack Black not be on this list? School of Rock. He was AWESOME!"

Technically he WAS there (Diamonds in the Rough) but I was really expecting to see Tenacious D.

BLUES BROTHERS FTW!!!!!!!!

They did awesome live shows too. I was very pleasantly surprised at how good they were live. (I saw them when Jim had taken over for John as "Zee Blues".)

I wouldnt want to see any list that DOESNT put Spinal Tap at #1... (Though Placebo in Velvet Goldmine should have been a close #2...)

WTF! They didnt include Infant Sorrow! Just because it is new doesn`t mean it isn`t worthy of a top spot.
