US President: Worst Job In The World? [Pic]

Submitted by: fancylad 7 years ago in

Something about this pic makes it painfully clear that Obama has the most difficult, under-appreciated job in the world.

Even if Obama does nothing, it`s better than if we had another republican in the white house.
However, I still wish he would grow a pair and actually do what he promised.

I think every time he sees Bush`s mess is a chance for him to realize the point of his own vision. He could be our greatest president, but he has got to phucking remember why he`s here.

awwwwwww, that`s so sad. I feel terrible that Obama is left with the mess that Bush left behind. Plus the recession he has to deal with isn`t favoring him either.
Bush=Worst US President to date? i`m thinking so.
The fact that he had 543,895 less individual votes than Gore nationwide, but still won due to Florida`s overwhelming support really speaks for itself.

"Worst job in the world" is a terrible caption to put as it seems like your saying hugging disabled people is a horrible thing to do. Perhaps a different caption would better show the message of what you seem to be trying to say about Obama being underappreciated which he is.

Agreed. But what I`m talking about here is great leaders of men. Remember Churchill`s "We will fight them on the beaches... and we will NEVER surrender" speech.

And @ Ass-in. Dude, you`re being a bit of a c*ck. Winston Churchill has to take responsibility for some of the deaths from the Boer War, since he was an Officer at the time? Let it go, Irishman (said one Irishman to the other). Churchill was f*cking awesome.

I thought it was very obvious as to what the catpion ment. He is responsible for every life and limb lost in the war. He may not have started it, but it`s still going to land on him. I wonder, how could Bush sleep at night, KNOWING he sent many brave men and women to their deaths in Iraq, with no cause. With no point. We got Sadam, HOO-dratING-RAY...that is what this picture is about...it`s about him feeling what Bush should have felt, and that, is why it is the hardest job in the world.

Ollie, the best Leaders in the world know how to Work Hard/Play Hard. Take Winston Churchill. He was a functioning alcoholic who partied like it was 1929, yet he was a great leader of men, won the goddam war.

Great men can play and lead at the same time. Bush couldn`t lead a f*cking high-school marching band. Is the best you can come up with a comparison of how many rounds of golf each has played?
Dude, wise up.

I really don`t care about how much golf a President plays. People will remember Bush for his War in Iraq. You`re criticism is just about as dumb as the liberal ones.
Actually the spill`s been going on for 74 days now. Obama actually deployed skimmers 9 days after the explosion, which was five days after people realized it was a serious problem. Most importantly this is BP`s mess and they need to fix it.

Too many people here are missing the big picture (omg its an insult to the woman!) please... This picture is a painful reminder of thousands coming home from the middle east with the exact same injuries, and how you would feel if it was your job to stop it from happening. Google image search "military amputee" - find some stuff to read about it. The Bush administration prevented the statistics from being released when he was office, regarding how many thousands lost a limb, just as he prevented the media from filming any of the caskets coming back to this country.
It`s an EXTREMELY effed up situation if you have a friend or family member affected by this, and this was something Obama did not cause, but is now responsible for. If you can`t get that, you still have a little growing up to do (no offense).

"Actually what is forbidden is for people to diss their own leaders, and it is still punishable by law on some occasions/places."

One of the things that makes America great, is that if you don`t agree with our leaders, you can say whatever you want about them, short of threatening their life.

You can also make them leave office, if they suck enough.

@davymid The point of the "golf" thing is this: Every time Bush played golf, the MSM said it was front page news: Bush Plays Golf Rather Than (fight war, lower debt, create jobs & etc) EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!
So now Obama is held to a completely DIFFERENT standard? Sickening.
Plus he could have sent the oil skimmers in 60 days ago, cleaning up MILLIONS of gallons of oil from the water, but he DID NOT!
This is why his golfing is "important" It isn`t really, but it IS a symbol of leftist hypocricy.

politics make stupid people yet even freaking dumber. honestly we shouldnt be forced into choosing between the lesser of two evils. if there isnt a reasonable canidate, they dont get elected. im just saying un-experienced guy with old vice president, or old president with un-experienced woman vice president. they were all too dam wacky to honestly want either of them.

Somehow I think maybe the soldier who got her legs blown off in has a job that may be just a teeny tiny bit harder than being the Community Organizer in Chief.

He`s played more rounds of golf in 17 months than Bush did in 8 years. When he`s not playing golf, or shooting hoops, or going on vacation, or throwing extravagant parties and hobnobbing with celebutards, he`s running all over the place giving speeches off of a teleprompter and patting himself on the back thinking that`s the same as actually doing something useful.

But what does this pic have to do with his job being bad? He`s just greeting her.
Or are people uncomfortable with the fact she has no legs? Compared to two wars and a pootty economy, having a possibly uncomfortable moment with disabled person is the least of his worries.

I think the joke is meant to be, that the person with prosthetic legs is hugging HIM. With the sentiment of "Mr Obama, I`ve got no legs, it hasn`t been easy, in fact it kinda sucked. But man, do I ever feel sorry for YOU."

I think, anyways.

Female 541
I think the point of this picture may be to show that the President goes through a lot of emotional stress. How that results to hugging someone with prosthetic legs, I`m not sure. I`m just guessing here!

Also, Mr. JeffBeau, as many other people have kindly pointed out, you are sadly misinformed. "He refuses to stop illegals invading the U.S. and has blocked efforts to clean up the oil spill. " One of the most false statements ever. You`ve got to be kidding me.

auburnjunkey: "Also, I`d get behind our troops if we got attacked again, but the problem is, Obama wouldn`t take appropriate (military) action. He would enter into negotiations. (he has already stated this)"
Why do you always need military action? Honestly, it should be a last resort. Wars are terrible and difficult to handle. Maybe your forgot that? Ever heard of using your words? Personally, I prefer a more peaceful president.

"Republicans are trying to hijack the Tea Party movement with some success. . . The Tea Party is (originally and mostly) not part of either of the 2 big parties."

NO no no, the Tea Party IS SIMPLY pissed off Republicans. Lets not delude ourselves that they are some spontaneous "movement" of unaffiliated voters.

LOL and HAHAHAHA, you actually believe that don`t you? Lets straighten this out right now.

According to the results of three seperate Gallup polls (a reputable, non-partisan polling firm), 79% of Tea Baggers are SELF-IDENTIFIED REPUBLICANS. 80% say they will vote Republican this fall.

From their analysis: "Their similar ideological makeup and views suggest that the Tea Party movement is more a rebranding of core Republicanism than a new or distinct entity on the American political scene."

EXACTLY what I`ve been saying for a long time.

The tea party`s time has come and gone. They had a chance to organize and elect some people but that time has now passed. They are way too dysfunctional and most of America are realizing how out of touch their ideas are. Rand Paul gets in trouble with his electorate every time he talks and Angle is so far off her meds the NRA, which almost always endorses a Republican, is endorsing Reid. That has never happened in Nevada before. And for those that think the tea party is a cross section of America, think again. Most are white, richer than those around them, older, and men. In other words, the ones who voted against Obama in 2008. No surprise there. Also, even though most think we are moving towards socialism, over 70% think we need more government involvement in certain areas. (Bloomberg) Go figure.

I think you have only the vaguest ideas of what feudalism actually is. It`s not apparent what exactly you`re arguing for; you`ll bash all points of view equally without supplying any of your own. If you don`t have answers don`t mock those that do.

You clearly have an understanding of what you don`t like but you don`t seem to have the sophistication to positively point out why, or any better alternatives.

I have to agree with Bubbarider and say that many of your bullet points are completely false, and founded on misconceptions and factual inaccuracies.

JeffBeau, you really ought to get your facts straight before posting because most of what you stated is either intentionally false or you don`t read a lot. The Senate is not "filibuster proof" since they just delayed voting on a jobs bill so as to avoid a filibuster. Asking for bipartisan support is common on both sides and in no way should be construed as `whining" since every President has done it. His stated policy on immigration doesn`t include "open borders". I wonder if you made less than minimum wage in one of the poorest countries in the world and if you saw an opportunity for your family just across an expanse of open desert what you would do. If he has insulted whites with racist remarks, prove it, and Presidents rarely attend the Memorial Day celebration you are referring to, except on special years. Just Google it. He is also the one who got BP to pony up 20 billion. I didn`t see Glenn Beck or Sarah Palin doing that. Opinion is fine as long as it is

@jerry: you`ve confused Republicans with libertarian Americans. The power structure of the Republican party (Bush, McCain, Boehner, McConnell) voted for the bank bailouts (giveaway) and stimulus bills (Democrat re-election fund) because they too love big government. The two parties are two head of the same monster.

Republicans are trying to hijack the Tea Party movement with some success. But, there`s progress in the other direction with the nominations of Paul in Kentucky and Angle in Nevada. (McConnell and Senate Repubs about crapped their baby blue panties when Paul won.)

Both of these parties are driving us toward feudalism (cf. dark - middle ages).

The Tea Party is (originally and mostly) not part of either of the 2 big parties. It`s Americans who want the U.S. government to keep their oath to uphold the constitution. They`re sick of the lies, broken promises, and indebtedness to the big banks and federal reserve.

Hard to believe he has to "deal" with anyone. His party has healthy majorities in the House & Senate (filibuster proof in the latter). He & they can do whatever they want, including "deeming" bills passed without even voting on them. Yet lately he`s whining that he needs Republicans on immigration reform (read: amnesty & open border). But even if they don`t pass what he wants, he`s already said he`ll circumvent Congress with executive orders.

Yeah, he`s been so wildly successful that he`s had ample time to play lots of golf, host private concerts & dinners, throw fits and blame others for pretty much everything. He has publicly insulted whites with racist remarks, the governors of LA & AZ, and veterans (by not attending Memorial Day service). He refuses to stop illegals invading the U.S. and has blocked efforts to clean up the oil spill.

Absolutely one of the worst job in the world. Having to order people into combat to risk their lives and being responsible for the outcome sucks.

Is he a good president? Too soon to say. We are just now feeling the effects of the Clinton and even the Bush Sr. presidencies.

@jak22 How does the government work? I`m always interested to hear from people who have it all figured out.

"That all ended during the Clinton administration."

No, that just ends when Republicans are in charge.

Remember "support our troops!" If you didn`t support the president after 9/11 you were UNAMERICAN!!!!!!!!

How much you want to bet Republicans won`t be saying "support our troops" if Obama is president when we suffer a comparable terrorist attack???

Likewise, I think people who blindly follow and support a demagogue who lies the same lies, just with the intent of pushing the same agenda, appeasing the same constituents, and getting re-elected piss me off. Both political parties have essentially the same goals and use the same means to achieve them. Learn how politics work.

I read an interesting psychological theory as to why the right-wing in America is losing its mind.

The Right loves to envision themselves as "rugged individuals," who have no need of government or outside help. BUT, when the economy collapsed (starting at the END of Bush`s second term, remember), and all these massive financial institutions began to collapse, something inside the Right began to come to grips with the idea that, IN FACT, they were quite powerless WITHOUT help from the Government in shoring up the financial system.

So their ANGER at Obama is actually the psychological anger they feel INTERNALLY at the notion that their own ideology of rugged independence has been discredited, but rather than internalize this new truth, they PROJECT their fear and internal anger externally, thus, Blame Obama for EVERYTHING.

There used to be a time when the election settled the matter and the losing side got behind the president no matter the party. That all ended during the Clinton administration.

"teabaggers can piss off. id sure as hell vote for him again, he`s doing an amazing job considering he has to deal with a bunch of right wing whinny children who dont actually know how the government works and just dont want to pay taxes."

I love you.

And the incredible thing is, the right wing is only so mad because he`s actually highly effective at pushing his agenda.

No matter what he does, half of the nation gives him poo. So yeah, most under-appreciated job ever.

Plus, no matter what you do as president, 50% of your fellow citizens HATE you.
