It`s just a very low contrast image. The method I explained earlier will make it show up clearly, even on a CRT. However, it appears that there are a lot of people who don`t read previous comments. If you had done as I said, you would have seen this:

For those using PCs (or ancient CRTs) that actually cares, it says in light grey writing:

What The Hell Are You
Doing If You
Keep Tilting Your
Screen Back Like That
You Could Accidentally
Break It Be More Careful
Seriously Man

HA! I`m using my iPod Touch turned sideways :-P

It`s a cool trick, I just wish they`d done something better with it...

Thats pretty cool.. its like using milk to write hidden messages on paper, but digital!

I found on my laptop anyway the closer to the top of the page it is the more readable it was.. going from fully readable without tilt at the top to unreadable below the equator line of the screen

its more pointless than anything but a neat trick

my laptop is small and light so tilting it slightly is really not going to hurt it.

Alternatively you could just move your face to adjust the angle you`re looking at it with instead of tilting the screen.

I have a flat-screen on my desktop.

No way in hell was I going to tilt this thing back just for this one post... It`s kinda awkward and heavy.

So instead, I did the smart thing. I decreased the contrast and gamma all the way, lol. There`s a lesson for today. Don`t fall for these, learn to use display settings!
Or you could just tilt your head to the side...
or you could copy and paste the image into Irfanview, punch up the contrast and take down the brightness till the image appears.

To make something like this, just reverse the process.

You could also lay lower your head, thus making the projector unproblematic.

How-does-it-work guess: It is already written there, obviously, only in a shade slightly different than the background.
By tilting your light reception angle, you lose some color reception (either green, blue, red or any combination of them), as they tend to shift their trajectories when going through the monitor film (or glass). Such shift is obviously compensated for straight-on views, but not for tilted views.
By tilting your view, you lose at least one of the colors that make the shades so similar, thus making the shades different enough for you to be able to see the letters.

Just a guess, though.
