>>why does willy wonka have a gun at 6:11

This was from the prequel where they showed Mr. Wonka slipping into a world of delusion and paranoia. In the end he decided to give away the chocolate factory before the stress killed him.

@buttsdowhat That one was added to the list "classic" (also voted #1), right after it aired in the movie. No one voted against it.

Exceptional insult goes to 2:17. No come back for that one.

That was epic, and makes it about 1000x more annoying that we have a stupid silly ham-fisted profanity filter on this site!!!

Some real classics in here. I find "Frankly my dear, I don`t give a damn" to be one of the best insults of all time.

"You despise me, don`t you?"
"If I gave you any thought, I probably would."

As near a perfect delivery as I`ll probably ever see.
There is a reason the clasics are called Classic.

"You`re a real boring f*ck. Sorry. I know you disapprove of the swearing. So I`ll sort that. You are a boring "f", star, star, c*nt."

The whole opening scene from Full Metal Jacket with Lee ermey could of been on there not just those 2 lines.
some of those aren`t even insults, they were just telling someone F u or a threat.
Ahhh I was getting all ready to say no Monty Python?? lol course it was at the end

How about

"Hey, Boris. What would you do if I told you your pinko Commie mother sucked so much dick, her face looks like an egg?
[Checkov decks Rocco] "

He cut the Clerks clip a second too short. What makes it funny is right after Dante says "try not to suck any dicks on your way across the parking lot", the guy standing outside the door immediately follows her into the parking lot...

What? No Repo Man quotes?

Joe Pesci & Sgt Hartman (Ermy) rule.

Surprised they were even aware of "True Romance" (Hopper vs. Walken). Awesome scene, awesome movie.

The worst insults are the complete dismissals. If you`re swearing at someone, they`ve made you angry. It`s more insulting if they`re so utterly irrelevant to you that they don`t even make you angry. They`re so insignificant and meaningless that they can`t even be a trivial irritation to you.

"You despise me, don`t you?"
"If I gave you any thought, I probably would."

Said casually and Without looking at him, because he`s not worthy of even an instant`s attention.

I think that`s the worst insult in this list.

here is my favorite movie insult:

From Ghostbusters II:
Dana: It`s late, I really ought to put him
down.
Dr. Peter Venkman: May I?
Dana: Yeah, if you want to.
Dr. Peter Venkman: [points in baby`s face]
You`re short, your bellybutton sticks out
too far, and you`re a terrible burden on
your poor mother.

3 of them were from In The Loop. I must watch that again. That`s also the first time I`ve heard the C word in a movie as far as I can remember. I found "Thunder-C**t" inexplicably hilarious. It`s probably the way he said it.

"the last one wasn`t an insult. "

If you havemn`t seen Gone With the Wind, then you wouldn`t think so. It`s always a smart idea to watch classic movies. Also, when accounting for inflation, Gone With the Wind is the highest grossing movie of all time; greater even than Avatar (which is a poop stain when comparing the writing quality).

Gerry1of: This was 1939, where dam was as much profanity as you could get. Basicly, the guy was saying he cared nothing about her and her troubles, in such a casual and uncaring way that it backs up the insult.

Most creative insult I ever used was when I said to someone who was annoying me "Your a right c**t.", he said back "Oh that`s thats a orginal insult." and I finished off with "Not really a insult, more a statement of fact. When you put your name and c**t into a sentance, David becomes the verb and c**t becomes the noun."
