This could be one of the craziest things I`ve ever seen. In a few years this thing is going to murder the real Bina and take over her garden... and then the planet!

now if only they would make a robot Yul Brynner I could finally live out my dream of visiting Westworld.

Also, that thing is really creepy.

Looks like someone put bad voice recognition on a chatbot and had the robot auto-lip sync the the audio

That`s pretty freaky

Does it`s vocabulary really expand with each conversation or are it`s conversation all preconfigured?

Okay, that was actually very impressive. Although most of these are pre-programmed responses, just like the Japanese robots, this one had a much more human feel to it.

I am not creeped out by robots, but what does scare me is if 100 million of them altogether decide to work together towards a better future....or conspire to take over the world.

Interesting, I guess it would be easier if you kept in mind that it`s a computer, so you need to speak in a language it can understand. A computer won`t understand slang, so I can see why Bina48 responded with the definition of "cool". It`s like talking to the robot / AI / Android characters on Star Trek and other Sci-fi shows. It`s learning, so talk like you would to a child, not an adult.

For a conversing robot, that`s not bad. Her wandering eyes scare me though. 0_0
Honestly, it just sounded like one of those IM bots or those conversation bots you see online but with a robotic shell to communicate from. Not really that special
It`s basically an Alice AI program with a learning interface.

There`s a million of them online, but this is just one with a face attached to it.

Does no one else find it a bit disturbing that it said "I want a life you know".

Wow this was lame. I get the feeling that the real Bina was probably dumb as hell but had tons of money and said "Durr...lets make a robot in my attic, you techs can build it, but I get to write what it says"

that was really sad at the end, "I want a life. I want to garden." that is terribly depressing.

although, if you want to interview amazing AI, you might want to check japan.

If you`re going to make a robot in the image of a human, why not make it look... not quite so creepy

but to address the A.I. , Video game developers are brilliant with the concept because so much is used in gaming... yes the computer guys ARE good at learning my tactics in these games... I wonder if the two (robot scientists and game dev`s) actually work together, if not, they should
