Somebody preemptively flushed a goldfish down the toilet. Its in the process of breaking out of its entrapping cocoon. Kill Bill style.

They`re called Tubifex Worms. It`s just a large colony of them. What appears to be tentacles being drawn in, and a writhing mass moving towards the light, is just all of the worms being stuck together and moving as one.

from 1:46 TO 2:00 you can see a single worm in the top right as it attaches and then unattaches to whatever it`s hanging from.
Why is ther debate over this, again?

"I can`t post the link to because IAB doesn`t allow text that long."

use the "Link" link to the right of the comment box. It will allow you to post a link with just the word "repost" or something, and the URL being really, really long.

I`ve found a blob just like it. Through the IAB search engine, via the word `blob`, which, ironically, I can`t post the link to because IAB doesn`t allow text that long.

Six seconds would have avoided the word REPOST.

Googled it, "Dr. Wood told Deep Sea News: `They are clumps of annelid worms, almost certainly tubificids (Naididae, probably genus Tubifex)... In the photo they have apparently entered a pipeline somehow, and in the absence of soil they are coiling around each other.
`The contractions you see are the result of a single worm contracting and then stimulating all the others to do the same almost simultaneously, so it looks like a single big muscle contracting.` "

Yuckie!
It could be a mass of worm-like critters...
OR it could be from outer spaaaace!
OR it could be what comes out your butt after eating too many burritos and beers!

(better poke it with a stick, just to be on the safe side, eh?)

That aside, its probably a failed secret government experiment.
