Man I would hate to be one of the other 2 starters on that team....What a clear slap in the face to them. "sorry guys, the rule states we need 5 to play, so uh just be quiet until game day."

Get him some good teammates? Really? Ya know Jordan wanted a ring so he took a salary cut to allow his team to recruit better players. He certainly didn`t whine about having "pressure to score 30 on his own". And as to why he doesn`t have a title alread when he`s gone to the playoffs and choked every time, he just quits when he gets roughed up. He wimps out and gives up. He could have had a ring already if he had manned up during those games.

im a heat fan, so........ yeah, f-you, cleveland.

ya`ll had him for how long and couldn`t get a team around him to win?
QUIT YOUR STUPID, INSIPID WHINING!!!!!!!!

next time you get such a amazing player, maybe try and get him some good teamates and coaching staff.

yeah , when you compare Cleveland and Miami , it`s hard to fathom why the hell would Lebron come down here.
I`m pretty sure he can live with Ohio`s hatred. And if the Heat doesn`t win this year , he`ll have plenty of haters in Miami too...

One of the reasons that people here in Ohio are mad is because he spent an hour on national tv to take a crap on Cleveland. I guess Heat decided to BUY a championship. He is chasing a ring? Whatever LeBron! He went to school around here, and alot of people knew him before he became famous. People that have been around him personally know he`s a d-bag. He goes to restaurants and his orders are in the thousands, and he leaves like $200 tips. $200 might seem like alot, but it`s not for the work to prepare and serve that much food/people.

peloos12 Just a side note on the big three on Boston. They were not in their prime when they hooked up, they were all in their 30s in their first season together. That`s totally different from putting 3 star players in their prime together, all of them are in their mid 20s.

Don`t even get me started on baseball... then again, Pittsburghers like us might be a little bit biased because the Pirates suck so much. But I just hate leagues where the teams with the most money get the wins - which is clearly what baseball has been for years and what seems to be the future of the NBA. Sports shouldn`t have the same winners over and over again. It`s just boring.

"The NCAA has it all right. I love watching college hoops."

So true. I really dislike the NBA. The only thing keeping me from saying it`s the worst of the four major sports is the fact that baseball is... baseball. I LOVE, love, love NCAA basketball. I wish the NBA was a FRACTION of what college hoops are.

I haven`t been a huge fan of all this crap and I think Bron Bron walks away from this all with his reputation in shambles. I don`t know what happens next, but these two things I know are 100% true:

1. They will be fun to watch.
2. People were saying the same thing about Allen, KF and Pierce. There is no such thing as too much talent. I`m sure these three, Pat Riley and their coaching staff will spend the rest of the summer coming up with an offense all three of them can thrive in. It shouldn`t be too hard, really.

This is why I hate the NBA. I love basketball, but I can`t STAND this obnoxiously show-offish crap that the league is all about. The NCAA has it all right. I love watching college hoops. The NBA just has to make the announcers shut the hell up, turn off the fireworks and flashy crap, and get rid of the big egos. It`s not the 4th of July - it`s just a drating basketball game.

i just realized the center of my second post made no sense. sorry about that hahaha. let me explain. i meant that they`ll settle for shooting less but once their stats start to fall i bet lebron will be the first to get pissed about that and start to stand out and end up screwing everything up for the team

and also, i think theyre gonna just fall apart. each one of them was the go to man for their respective teams. lebron was literally about 47% of clevelands offense this year (as reported by ESPN, i believe) and now hes going to miami which for the last seven years is dwayne wades team. every single one of them wants to get the ball and shoot and they might settle for that in the beginning but i think lebron especially will hate it once he sees his stats starting to fall and will try to stand out which in turn will hurt the team. my prediction? no championships and at least one of those players will not finish this contract in miami

yeah inversegray the best deal was offered by cleveland and then new york was number 2 but combined with all the crazy endorsements he would get from ny it actually became number one.

on a side not, i think that says a lot about him. lebron just basically said that he cant be like kobe or michael or anyone else that has won a championship with a team that was built around their talents. he basically said that he isnt good enough to win

@inversegrav
He actually took less money to play in miami. He wanted the best chance at a championship.

Too bad its not a 3v3 tourney. You actually need 5 starters in basketball and a bench for when they get tired. They are going to have 9 players making a total of around 15 mil and that is nowhere near enough to have even a decent team. I have them winning 45 games tops.

I don`t follow basketball at all. But I figure that if any one of us working people was offered more money to do the same job we`ve had for years most if not all of us would take it even if it meant moving.

The announcer is probably the most annoying in the history of announcing. Even worse than the old wrestling announcers.

These three walking egos won`t last into the 2nd year together!

Lebron just sold out for a championship. He`s out of the running for the all time greats like, Mike and Kobe who didn`t need two all star players to win. I lost all respect for him when he chose to go with Miami, to a former mvp and a 5 time all star just to win a championship he couldn`t.

lol @handy003, look at what lebron did without a supporting cast in cleveland. I don`t care if it was just lebron wade bosh and the rest are bums, the heat have 4 of the next 5 championships guaranteed

I can`t wait until they start playing and losing. Then the honeymoon will be over. The heat will have no supporting quality cast due to the salary cap that they are at 90% of. Limited roster, no rest, injuries etc.... if they make the playoffs that will be 9 months. A long season to stay healthy. Miami has mortgage their future for a gamble on the whole enchilada.
