amonamarth20: `The Prowler` is designated EA-6. It is the same damn plane dufus! The only difference is the `E` and I explained what that was. `Electronic warfare` means Radar (and communications) Surveillance & Jamming.

The F-14 is now retired as well, And guess what replaced it ? The F-18.

Quit acting like you`re an `expert` when you clearly don`t know crap.

Wow, that guy must have nerves (and cajones) of steel. However, from this angle it`s a bit tough to gauge the actual distance. But that`s still about a thousand feet too close for me so still amazing.

also your confusing the intruder with the prowler. the ea-18 growler took over the prowler and the f-14 tomcat took over the intruder

a-6 a fighter? lol

it started out as a bomber and an electronic warfare plane and was replaced by the f-14. its currently retired although this could be the prowler which is still in service although only 1 sqaudron remains

MattPrince: Actually, It appears to be a US Navy A6 Intruder (Notice the refueling boom sticking out the front).

These have a different role in the navy now, They were fighters but the F-18`s took over that role.
They now have large antenna arrays on top of their tail and are used for radar surveillance, Mainly.

That looks like a Rafael, which implies French air force, so the bloke standing on the runway is French. Yet he`s not running away.. Fake!

Major-K: The plane is very aerodynamic, It`s made to slip through the air with low resistance, So it doesn`t move much air out of the way. The exhaust from the jet is moving the plane so the two forces cancel each other out.

A semi-truck is not as aerodynamic and pushes away a lot of air. It also doesn`t have an exhaust out the back, Like the jet, So it leaves an air wake behind it as well.

That looked rather intense, and I see I`m not the only one to question this, but, how did that man not get knocked down by the wind?

It`s called "success," and this guy most definitely falls on the "balls of steel" side of that line...

"Barely passed this guys melon, You`d nearly pass a melon too."
When I read this I assumed that the guy on the ground would throw a melon in the air, and the plane would nearly smash through it.
