"Besides, you say there`s so many worse things in the world. Just out of curiosity, how many of those worse things are what`s affecting YOU and your country? And what on that same list is what`s affecting the US?
Finally, how are you defining "worse"? Body count? By that definition, that number has yet to be arrived at. Tens of thousands of NY`ers were exposed to free floating asbestos when the towers collapsed, which could potentially result in thousands of mesothelioma cases. We`re at war in Iraq and Afghanistan as a direct consequence of the towers falling"

That bodycount has yet to be reached?! Have you ever heard of the World War II holocaust? In fact, during and for a short while after World War II, there were upwards of 80 million deaths.

However, I agree with you that people shouldn`t treat disasters as dick-measuring contests. "My country had a bigger disaster than yours, so you have no right to moan" is absolutely retarded.

yup, broad alright... broad in a very limited sense

im guessing im the only 1 who laughed at this? it was pretty funny:P

I don`t find this as offensive as some, but then again I was only 6 when 9/11 happened. I don`t remember it nor would I have been able to fully grasp what was going on. But still... it`s just not funny. Even if no one would be offended it still wouldn`t be funny. Whoever made this ad had the opportunity to make it funny, but in my opinion they missed the target completely... It`s not funny... just kinda true.

Male 886
I have a broad sense of humor...but this isnt funny in any way...where`s the punchline that makes it okay since it is a "joke".

If it is a joke then it is one made by someone with the sense of humor belonging to a Nazi officer.

If it were truly done in a humorous context then fine...but it isn`t done in that way.

It`s gross that everyone who is saying that is from Europe. Yeah, I`m sure you`d all feel the same way if a huge attack like 9/11 happened in your country (or very close to it) that resulted in a war that is *still going on and effecting the country today*.

I would never tell someone to get over the holocaust, and it`s been 65 years since that happened. I still don`t think the holocaust is in any shape or form "funny", and frankly I don`t think I ever could. Doesn`t matter how far away it happened or how long ago it was. I don`t have enough disregard for human life to ever find mass amounts of people dying humorous.

Female 3,574
To everyone who is saying it was "no big deal" and that "people should all get over it".

Tell that to all the people who lost a family member or friend in the attack. Oh, you should just get over it! It`s been almost 10 years! Who cares if they died, geez!

Tell that to the people who were there and witnessed the tragedy it with their own eyes or perhaps were close to dying themselves!

Even for those who did not lose anyone and were not there, that big of an attack on your own country isn`t something easy to get over.

It was a very impacting and scary day. Even in Canada everything stopped that morning as we just starred in awe and horror at what we were watching on TV.

Yes there is war everywhere. Yes, people die. This one hit quite close to home though. Telling someone that they should just get over and joke about a violent attack on their own country that killed thousands of people, effected millions and changed so

This is funny.

I don`t understand why 9/11 is so bad. Yes, I know what happened was horrible, but that`s what happens when you are at war. Your army goes and invades a country, kills loads of people, bombs weddings and pisses a load of people off. What did you expect?

The States aren`t invulnerable.

@DA3ND,

Tell you what. We`ll stop "crying" about our tragedy as soon as you stop crying over yours, which may include, but not limited to:

* the Germans bombing London in WWII;
* the Germans invading France, Austria, Poland, part of Russia, same war;
* there`s quite a bit more to European history, but I won`t go into it here, so, suffice it to say, etc., etc. etc.

Besides, you say there`s so many worse things in the world. Just out of curiosity, how many of those worse things are what`s affecting YOU and your country? And what on that same list is what`s affecting the US?
Finally, how are you defining "worse"? Body count? By that definition, that number has yet to be arrived at. They`re saying tower computers are a thing of the past. That the new all-in-one monitor/CPU desktop computers are much better. See, it`s all-in-one, a monitor, a CPU, DVD player, etc. All built in, on your desktop, one classy unit.

Well, maybe not classy, but, that`s the gist.
