Agreed. Hunting ivory is a big no-no.

"But when you take a car away from someone, they don`t go all mental, crazy, and need a "fix" to feel better. Horrible analogy"

Being a person who has witnessed more than one fist fight over street racing, I have to say that you are a little short sighted...

Cocaine was much more accepted just a few years ago, even Sherlock Holmes would do coke when he was bored between cases.

In 50 years time people will probably laugh at old adverts for cigarettes.

"6 bedroom for 11,600 dollars. That`s what, twelfty english pounds? where is that?"
Oh, it`s Boulder, Colorado.
You don`t want it. It`s not even as nice as a modern pre-fab and it looks like a rough neighborhood if it`s only worth 15000Eu.
On the other hand, might make nice to buy and rent out. You could make your money back in no time.
Especially if you found a box of ivory coke straws while bringing it up to code...

@Nidonemo Sorry, most coke isn`t made in a lab in the white coat sense. It`s made on farms with about as much technological processing as goes into making flour in a mill. Your argument is invalid.

Because this is unnatural processing:

""Oh, I do have to take issue with you calling weed a drug though. >>It`s a plant, it`s natural.<<"
So is coke.
So is opium.
So is... never mind. This one is too easy."

Well once it goes into a lab then it`s not natural anymore and it becomes processed, that`s what I meant, but here we`re arguing trivial technicalities and forgetting the main issue.

Yup Nidonemo, yup. Nothing sexy about it--acting like an idiot, blowing your nose all the damn time and causing your family to be homeless. What a man! I joke sometimes (now that he`s clean from that anyway) that if my husband sneezes hard enough maybe some of that money he put up his nose will come back out. Oh, I do have to take issue with you calling weed a drug though. It`s a plant, it`s natural. And don`t smoke cigarettes, kids. Effing hard to quit, and you stink. Really effing hard to quit. Wish I`d never started.

Guys, don`t snort coke, or do heavy drugs. If you must do drugs, smoke weed. That`s it. Take it from a guy who`s seen people destroy themselves.

Don`t f*cking do drugs. I`m dead serious.

See Kris, I keep telling you the 70`s were an awesome time!

Most things were still legal.
If it wasn`t legal it was tolerated.
And STD`s hadn`t been invented yet.

This has nothing to do with if coke is legal or not, they still legally make stuff like this today. It`s coke itself that`s illegal, not the tools you need for it. Granted, it`s illegal if it actually advertises that it`s made for coke.
Also, I bet that`s considered very collectible today.

@Aus10816 it still is in the US. It`s a schedule II controlled substance. Though largely passed over for synthetic anesthetics, it`s still available for use by surgeons if specified. It`s used in some eye and nasal surgeries.

"For those not in the know, cocaine used to be legal."

Cocaine was listed as a controlled substance in 1970. Which probably makes this ad NOT from the 1970`s.
