First of.. this isn`t proven, under any circumstances. Second... this girl obviously knows this, considering if it was true, it wouldn`t be psychological, it would by physiological. So... idk. If it were true, that would solve plenty of misunderstandings. But.. I doubt it.

and if I woke up and this girl was next to me, I believe the tears would be streaming from the right eye, or perhaps my other eye... inappropriate.

"And how would you know? Oh, that`s right, you don`t know."

Why are you getting on her case, she just didn`t believe it, no need to be all bitchy about it.

But, dear, I was more or less going with this definition: "2. To speak in fun; be facetious."

No, I`m just always right. It`s okay, you`ll understand one day. Until then, sit and look pretty.

"wtf is with the comment "all redheads are liars" below? Um. wierd."

Well, dear, that`s called a joke. In case you haven`t heard of a joke before, I`ll provide you with a definition. Let`s see if we can get you to learn something today.

This reeks of "made up" fact. Suck the poison from a snake bite while tilting your head back to cure a nose bleed, silly lady. :) (Yes, those are both fake facts)

There is no speculation necessary here. This is absolutely 100% untrue. I have NEVER (in my 5+ years of studying psychology) heard of anything remotely resembling this, nor could I find a single study that suggested anything along these lines just now.

As someone else mentioned earlier, both eyes tend to fill with tears before any actual tears run down your cheeks. Which eye produces a tear first completely depends on your position and possibly the physical shape of your eyes.

I sure do smell bullpoo Aquaeous. And I should know, being blind in one eye, only one of them produces tears at ANY time. Well that makes me feel like a real douchebag when I remember how I was, watching 9/11 unfold live on TV, and realizing that, according to this biatch, I was ecstatically HAPPY at the time!???

I don`t see how you`re glands are connected to your brain when you cry. Sure, you cry because of an emotion; but what is the evolutionary purpose of crying with one eye sooner? Did it help us in our primitive state? And has anyone ever noticed this? I did psychology too, and I think this is total bull.

I have tear duct damage in my left eye, so I always cry from my right first.

Also, I don`t believe any of this.

Hmmm...I don`t think I agree. For one, if you`re really about to cry, especially if you`re sad, are you really going to look in a mirror and try to see which tear comes first? And if so, wouldn`t that make you stop crying, since you`d be focusing so hard on the mirror that you`d forget what you were crying about.

And if you`re crying because you`re happy...well...shame on you. Everyone knows crying is for when you`re sad. :,(

But seriously...I don`t know about this one...I`ll be sure to try and check next time I cry...

This isn`t true. Both of your eyes start to well up before the tears actually fall; the eye from which the first tear falls depends entirely on the person`s physical position (and gravity :P)
