Wow.

I am aware that not all women are sexist, but a good chunk of them are, and that amuses me.

Anyone can play this game.

I believe the correct word for non-sexist equality for both men and women is egalitarianism. Moreover, feminism was prominently a reaction by equal rights activists to dispute man`s alpha-position in society. That view might have been changed, but consider the initial meaning in that first zeitgeist. Also, an attack on "sexual superiority of men" might justify the term that is "feminism", no? Once again, times have changed, are still changing, whilst not enough in some cases.
feminists are not passe. discrimination in any form is wrong.
Which is why feminists are wrong, obviously.

I still can`t believe it took me so long to notice the obvious. I think that the lie that feminism is sexual equality is the most successful big lie of politics, ever. Feminism is inherently sexist, openly sexist and even self-named to reflect that sexism. Yet it`s had considerable success with conning people into believing the ludicrous claim that it`s the very opposite of what it is. I fell for it myself. I have to reluctantly admire the degree of political skill necessary to pull that degree of bif lie off with that degree of success.

Why would you? I`m a man, so you`re going to stick me in a big lump with every other man and label it "bad and wrong". I never expected you to care - I`m posting for the sake of arguing against you and in the hope that maybe a couple of people who read it will become a little less accepting of sexism that`s normal.
We let you keep your extra cash for doing the same work [..]
Feel free to try provide any evidence that there`s any truth in your statement.

It`s just propaganda. You cannot provide any evidence to support it because there isn`t any. You might believe it because you`ve been conned by feminism. You might believe it because you`re sexist enough to believe any old crap that says "men are bad and the enemy". Feminism has been very successful in socialising everyone to believe that sort of thing without thought, let alone checking. You might not believe it but realise how useful it is as propaganda to promote sexism, i.e. you might be a feminist.

You might be many things, but what you can`t be is right.

Jesus Christ! Its just a damn joke! If you`re a man who really thinks women are ditzy, weak dishwashers and babymakers, then good for us since that greatly reduces your chances of reproducing and ruining the gene pool. If you really think most men are sexist a-holes, you accomplish nothing by complaining about it! You can ignore them. And if you`re problem is the pay gap, make a union or activist group and do something about it or quiet down. I thought this was funny since I don`t take it as seriously as almost everyone below me seems to!

Feminists seem passe to me. If you don`t live in a piece of poo nowhere town being a man or a woman really shouldn`t have much bearing on what you do.
The more important gap is between those who are college educated and those who aren`t.
To the women:
-Go to college
-Work hard
-Stand up for yourself
-Find a husband who wants to share "maternal" and "paternal" roles
-Actually use HR to your advantage if you feel abused

Tired of hearing the same jokes? I`m black and was raised by a Jewish family.
I don`t hate the Caucasian, Christian world and I don`t limit my friends to only blacks or Jews. I`ve accepted a degree of jokes, and use those jokes to push me to the next level and show people what I can do.
I do this all silently without a banner of Jewish Pride or NAACP (as opposed to feminism)

If you really believe that all men are stuck in this archaic anti-female society then your meeting the wrong men (or you`re

As a plane is about to crash a woman gets up, takes off her clothes, and says "if I`m going to die, I wanna die like a woman, isn`t there a man among you that can make me feel that way?" A few seconds later a man says I can, he takes off his pants, throws them at her and says "here iron those"

Oh, and its 77%, not 70%. Not that bad... if it isn`t affecting you.
And it isn`t comparing like for like. Everyone knows that now, bar those who are still in feminist fantasy land.

If you actually want to close that gap, the most effective thing you could do would be to campaign to make fathers seen as being as much parents as mothers because that inequality is the biggest single factor in the "wage gap".

Of course, you would have to be an anti-feminist to do that.

Equally obviously, no feminist would want that gap to disappear. It`s far too useful to repeat in the hope that no-one will check what the figur actually refers to.

Compare these two responses.

"I`m not racist but once this black guy tried to rape me, now I`m scared of blacks"

Ok, that could possibly sound reasonable. Here is the thing though.

Would the same person, if it was a white person, be afraid of white people? (Her own race). I would argue, almost certainly not.

(This is a real person I`m discussing here).

Similarly, when someone says that she is against Men (or women, or plumbers, or whatever), the question has to be asked: Would you be against your own gender if you went through the same experience?

People, very often, are arseholes.
To dislike arseholes is normal.
To dislike group X, because of group X`s arseholes without acknowledging your own group of arseholes, is when bigotry comes in.

No, apart from `baby`. There are other words for men. Tiny woo.

Are you going to claim that women on average are paid 30% less than men for the same amount of the same work? In the `West`? Today?

That big lie is past its sell by date. People wised up to that one years ago. You`re behind the times with your silly propaganda. You need to make up a different lie. Make it a big one - the big lie is the one to go for in biopolitical propaganda.

*with a man*. If you were right, she could have had long-lasting relationships with men in the past, because you`re saying that she was hetero in the past. The fact that she couldn`t supports my point of view and argues strongly against yours.
and trust me, If I were to turn gay, it wouldn`t be because I`m sexist against men (because I`m not)
If you`re put off all men because of the actions of some men, you are. That`s what you were saying. You cannot think that way without being profoundly sexist.

Also, if you try to be a lesbian because you dislike men, you`re likely to annoy people who actually are lesbians. Unless they`re equally sexist.

I know a couple of people who tried to be heterosexual, maybe even tried hard enough to convince themselves that they were. But they weren`t and eventually they realised that, after a number of heterosexual relationships that didn`t work out because they weren`t with the right person. It`s not uncommon for people to hide being homosexual, sometimes even from themselves.

Like the woman you referred to.

Who, to belabour an important point, did not choose to be a lesbian because she was sexist against men. She didn`t create a pretence of attraction to women out of sexism against men. She eventually found the attraction to women that was already there. Not the same thing at all.

Alternatively, she might simply be bisexual.

Angilion,

So you`re saying that it`s not at all possible for a straight female/male, to suddenly have feelings for their own gender? That if they didn`t start wanting their own gender at a very young age first, they`re not really a homosexual?

I know a lady that is quite older than me (She`s a friend of my mothers), that went through this change. She had no interest in women, attracted to men, but couldn`t find one that was a keeper. She told my mother that she realized she was much happier when she was hanging out with the girls. Long story short, she`s been with her female partner for 10 years.

Maybe this is rare, or just a coincidence, but it IS possible to turn lesbian.
and yes, a woman can *turn* lesbian.
Pretty much everyone who knows anything about human sexuality disagrees with you. It isn`t yet known what determines where on the spectrum a person fits, but it does seem clear that it`s fixed by a very young age.

There are people who are naturally bisexual to some extent and choose for various reasons to actively be only homo or only hetero, but that`s not the same thing as switching from one to the other.

Also, anyone who chooses one sex because of the actions of some people of the other sex is (a) a sexist bigot (b) won`t be happy and (c) will make other people unhapy. Real lesbians are so because they`re attracted to women, not because they are very sexist towards men.
