Very cool indeed. But if all you can afford is a tiny apartment, you cant aford this stuff. The beds START at 15k.

You know it`s expensive when you visit the website, hoping to find how much they cost, and instead you get a "request a quote" page.

There`s a guy in china that did this, He changed his small apartment into something a wealthy person would actually pay to stay in :P

"Extrememly clever and inspiring, but the same people who need to get as much space out of a room as possible are also the people with a limited budget, and these things are obviously expensive."

Yeah, really. They`re basically being marketed to young professionals who find themselves having to downsize their living space. Working class parents have away greater need for these "systems," but could never afford them.

Everything can turn into a bed?
also, it seems like there could be a lot of pinched fingers.

Wait a minute. The Murphy bed was "revolutionary" in the first half of the 1900`s. Don`t you think this should be perfected by now?

I love to have this applied in student dorms and such but because of the price that will not happen (soon) and I don`t want to live that way when I have my own house so it`s crap

Went to the website (listed on the you tube description) and they don`t even give you a price you have to request a quote ... nothing reasonably priced ever needed you to request a quote

Only problem is if you had enough money to buy that stuff you wouldn`t need to save space.

Who needs that many beds? Why do they all fold out to be beds? Why not some other funky stuff too? Why just... beds... ?

umm i have a similar bed for 20 years :S and it`s not that convenient. you have to clear up the surface of bed by removing all of the blankets, pillows everytime you want to have a bigger room. and when you close the bed there`s nothing left in the room to sit on. you have to bring chairs in the room. i have a small room. so if i want to use the table i have to move out the chairs. if i want to sleep again i have to bring all the blankets, pillows etc. if i forgot a book back there, i have to take back the blankets etc, close the bed and get the book from the shelter and open the bed again, bring the blankets. ooops we have visitors tidy up your room. close the bed again, bring armchairs to the room etc etc.

i hate it. don`t buy a bed like that. it`s also uncomfortable and sometimes something falls down behind the bed and it gets broken.

i wish i had a bigger room, a normal and comfortable bed so i could sit on it whenever i want, and a normal table so i could put so

Ok, There is nothing new about murphy beds. (Beds that pop out of the wall. My Grandmother had one since 1957) But I must say the tables were cool as hell. I want that apt.

A lot of this stuff would actually be awesome for where my boyfriend currently lives - he has a gorgeous flat, but there`s very little storage and we can never have anyone to stay as there`s no room. But some of those pieces would solve both problems!

Very cool. Unfortunately the beds do not look at all comfortable. But the kid desk/bed and hidden bunk bed were awesome.
