    rofl, the spider waves goodbye!

    Seriously though, insects are the worst things ever. When we start colonizing other worlds they BETTER not be allowed to come along.

    The wasp paralyzes the spider, lays her eggs in the spider`s body and then buries it. The spider stays alive but is immobile and when the eggs hatch, they feed off of the spider`s innards until they`re developed. Nature is cool.

    We have similar wasps here in Arizona, also known as a Tarantula Hawk, except ours our kind of a black/dark blue color. It`s really awesome to watch one take out a tarantula then plant it`s eggs inside of it`s prey.

    Here`s a wiki page on them

    Know what would have made the video great,If after all that at the very end a shoe comes flying into the scene and smashed the Wasp, just to let them both know who is really in charge.

    @Zerocyde

    Yeah, but if insects didn`t exist then the things that eat them (spiders, bats, birds, snakes, etc.) would have to feed on something else, and after a few generations, it would probably be US.

    Just something to think about.

    Can we have a video where there is an outcome we can`t easily predict? The wasp is designed to win. But we should see one with a vs that the outcome isn`t certain.

    I know that flies help things decompose, worms fertilize soil, bees pollinate flora...but when I think of wasps all I can come up with is some random douche picking fights and sapping off his weenie friends through intimidation.

    Something tells me that if I was there trying to film it, both the spider and the wasp would have gone after me instead of each other.

    And then I`d run screaming like a little girl inside and hope they don`t know how to get into the air vents. O.o

    I f***ing HATE red wasps. I used to just leave them alone till two of them stung me for no damned reason. Now whenever I see one, I will drop whatever I`m doing and kill the little bastard. I particularly enjoy it when I smack them and they`re all banged up, but they don`t die right away so I can watch them suffer a slow and painful death, that is, if they feel pain. God I hope they do.

    We have them in cent cal. They`re so large, their wings don`t make that typical wasp buzzing sound, but rather like a split deck of crisp playing cards being shuffled back together. It`s a bit unnerving.

    I had wasp from the start. Those f*ckers are badass little c*nts, every single goddam genus and species.

    I bet it laid some eggs inside that spider so that it`s bastard little offspring would eat it from the inside out, whether the spider`s now dead ot just paralysed so it would be eaten alive. Momma wasp wouldn`t care either way, whatever was better for her parasitic little f*cking wasp kids.

    Wasps are c*nts that way. That`s how they roll.

    OldOllie: Believe it or not good old fashioned aerosol hairspray kills wasps/bees/flies immediately, Just don`t use it on a windy day.

    It gets in their joints and locks them up, They won`t be able to fly or move. It also gets in their breathing holes in their abdomen and suffocates them.
