Optical Illusion Or Just Untouched By BP [Pic]

If BP keeps screwing up like they have been for the last month, this might be a thing of the past in a few years.

Sorry, neo. If it were possible, it would have been done. The slicks are too spread out and the water too choppy for a surface burn to work. It`s one of the first things they tried.

They`re currently sucking up water, separating it from oil, and burning some oil and saving some that can be salvaged.

I know we all hope they can stop this stuff at the source soon and get this mess cleaned up.

I don`t normally complain about content, but all this is, is just a picture of a boat in clear water with BP in the title so angry people who like to argue will click it and give their views on how to clean an oil spill despite the fact they have absolutely no clue what they`re talking about.

philippic, it hasnt been stopped yet, is destroying our coast lines, and killing off animals. thats why people care. me personally, i say light it on fire, let it burn out, and move on.

Because oil spills have never happened before right? Annoying how the media likes to hype things up, this oil spill is just another example.

Madest, I suggest that your anger is misdirected. You know that all those key drilling decisions were made my management teams sitting in comfy, AC-controlled offices in Houston, right? That not one of the 11 men that died had any control over nor any say in what drilling decisions were taken? They were roughnecks, righands, engineers. All they were doing was trying to bring in an income for their family, same as you, same as me.

By the way, it`s not 2 children who are now fatherless, it`s 15 children, ranging in age from teenagers all the way down to one who`s wife was 9-months pregnant when her husband was killed. At least most of the children will have memories of their dead fathers, the baby son who was just born will never meet his dad.

I personally find your sentiment of "Screw their dead employees while their children watch" to be repugnant and disgusting in the extreme. But, to each their own.

What should I pretend to care? weren`t there signs aboard the rig that were ultimately ignored? We`re supposed to feign sadness for these people? No thanks.

@ madest

Mate sort it the drat out, don`t be saying stuff like that on forums if you don`t want a ban. Those employees had drat all to do with this and now they are dead? Their children have to grow up with no dads because BP are tight fisted, so don`t say that which is not called for. What would happen if I ran around saying the people of 911 deserved it? drating exactly, watch your mouth non-nice individual!

Boo friggin hoo. Screw BP. Screw their dead employees while their children watch. I have no feelings for any of them. Screw Joe Barton and Haley Barbour. Those two douches make me want to use twice as much oil. Screw Tony Haward and his silly "yacht" they can both eat me. Pompous money grubbing dickwads.

Froggybuster, Europeans, et.al.- Did it occur to you that this is an American site and maybe the rest of the world pays a little too much time worrying about us? We do get to talk about this amongst ourselves right? If anyone from America is being a twit on your sites I apologize. Anyway, the biggest story at work here today in D.C. is if Strasburg`s for real. I look forward to your opinion.

It`s in the water, you can look at the bottom of the boat which is slightly distorted, as well as the anchor. Spot might be it`s shadow on the shallow water.

"No. If you look at the anchor all the way to the left, you can see its in the water. The dark blue spot next to it could either be photoshop, or some weird-ass fish."

ORRRR that big dark patch is the shadow of the boat on the bottom of the sea? maybe its in the shallows above a patch of sand. perfectly reasonable explanation :P

No. If you look at the anchor all the way to the left, you can see its in the water. The dark blue spot next to it could either be photoshop, or some weird-ass fish.

Or maybe they`re dropping it int he water and they cropped out the rest of the anchor.

Oh, I wish BP did this to every shoreline in the US, so the rest of the world can continue to laugh at the fact that Americans think that anything which happens to them is the worst of it`s kind which has ever hit the planet at any time anywhere. Katrina. 9/11. This oil spill. The list goes on.

How drating dare anyone out there make fun of BP after all they have been through.!

They lost their Oil Rig, Their employees died. They had two f*ckin kids.

Their lease turned out to be a user, a cheater, and now they`re going through a custody battle. All you people care about is….. readers and making money off of them.

THEY`RE A COMPANY! (ah! ooh!) What you don’t realize is that BP is making you all this gas and all you do is write a bunch of crap about them.

LEAVE THEM ALONE! You are lucky they even performed for you BASTARDS!
LEAVE BP ALONE!…..Please.

Barack Obama talked about professionalism and said if Tony Hayward was a professional he would’ve pulled it off no matter what.

Speaking of professionalism, when is it professional to publicly bash someone who is going through a hard time.

Leave BP Alone Please…. !
