Nice to know that when it comes right down to it, Canada is just as volatile as the rest of the world.

That`s why England had the right idea by beating down idiots like this. Using this situation as an opportunity to steal is scummy.

That is so despicable. Dressed in black, attacking a harmless, unarmed Tim Horton`s. I mean, what did Tim`s ever do to any one? Except please the masses of Canadian`s with cheap dependable coffee.

I love the way IAB tries to stir up arguments with it`s tag lines. It`s always something like `guess the UK is still pretty screwed up` or `looks like I wouldn`t want to live in America` or `Canada`s sure gone down hill`.

People immediately want defend their country and so arguments begin, boosting comments. Got to give it to you though, it`s a formula and it works ;)

I would shoot the bloody lot of them. What on earth makes them think they are allowed to do that? Stuff tear gas, stuff rubber bullets, stuff water hoses. Go live on their asses and see how many of them stick around.

I hate seal hunt protesters so much.
I`ve got a friend in Toronto right now,and its so brutal what the cops have been doing to the peaceful protesters (and the fact they themselves have been egging the damn Black Bloc on.)

Eff Tim Horton`s, that is nasty crap that all tastes the same (soup and doughnuts all taste like the coffee). Also...wow Toronto. Wow. So much for 4th best place in the world to live, I think Calgary should be budged up a rank for that.

It has actually a very small group of the protesters that were violent and committed acts of violence and crimes. It was mentioned several times during broadcasts that protesters were often seen policing each other. Still is really embarrassing the things that were done. Shame on them!

The riot cops are no surprise, but it`s sad what people will do to make an inane point or just to take advantage of a situation. Hope no one was hurt.

pepper66: I fail to see how a protesting tactic used for anti-riot cop purposes has anything to do with an evil organization bent on stealing and genetically engineering Pokemon. That being said, the violent rioting of these particular Black Bloc members was counter-productive and unacceptable. There have been allegations that many of the Black Bloc members who were particularly vicious about destroying property and attacking other protesters were actually police provocateurs (reports of seeing them come out of police vans, wearing cop-issued shoes), but with the glut of misinformation now flooding the internet we can`t be sure of anything other than that this was a violent and shameful chapter in the history of the summit.

I absolutely hate G20 protesters. It`s like, most use it as an excuse to act out, "have fun", and steal, like we see in the last picture. It drives me nuts, that people riot for the sake of rioting. It`s not like they are proving a point with this.

NOOO! NOT THE TIM HORTONS! D:
I visit that location a lot too...
I can`t believe how bad everything got. We had many protests in Toronto before, but it never got out of hand. These people can`t be from here.
The worse I`ve seen was when that group shut down the highway. And even with that, it only lasted the night, and everyone had to leave before rush hour.

The horses look cool with the visors and shin pads.
Also.. The should build a base in Antarctica specifically for G8 & G20 meetings then this problem would be solved... The 1.3Billion the spent on security for 3 day would probably cover the cost of a permentent meeting place
