I don`t see the PHP Bible or the MySQL Refernce Manual or anything about CSS...

and yeah Social Media Experts should be charged a tax by the web developers who develop the frontends and backends that these parasites feed from...

"WTF is a social media expert?!?! whatever it is I am pretty sure its another reason to shoot myself."

The most vile, disgusting creatures on the planet. Make a Twitter account and you`ll become familiar with these vermin in no time.

Better question would be "Where are the php and perl books?"

benthebug r3tr0c0ck3r why the hell are you even taking this seriously? It`s not supposed to be a factual infographic of the internets... it`s a JOKE, a parody - a light-hearted poke at the annoying media expert types that flood social networking types, you weird little muppets.

A web developer needs to learn XML/HTML 4 times, Flash 3 times and ASP twice?

Also, I`m pretty sure you need to know more than a few "super secrets" to be an SEO. Either way, you can`t just say "I read a book, I`m an expert, give me a job!" in any scenario, even if that is all you need to know.

What? Jobs that require vast amounts of precise instinct pay better than the internet version of a construction worker?

SHHOOCKING!

Would the people that make money from YouTube be considered social media experts? I`m not sure what it is :S

No, davy, their objective is actually in the form of a slogan, which happens to be 2 parts of a famous 3 part slogan:

War is Peace
Freedom is Slavery

They call themselves "Republicans." It`s actually so secret, some them don`t know they`re Republicans, and some even think they`re Democrats or Independents.

They`re going to assassinate me now that I`ve told you this secret.

Eh, I disagree. SEO is an art form almost haha. It`s also worth it`s weight in gold. My boyfriend gets 99% of our business from people searching "Web Design Toronto" in Google. Good SEO is earning him thousands and thousands of dollars a month, so I`d say the money spent setting it up and keeping it maintained is well worth it.

No no, Elgin`s right. You actually DO say "an hospital". As long as your objective in life is to make yourself sound like an enormous, raging c*ck.

@ Elgen - "Incidentally, it is `a hero`, but `an hospital` and `an hotel`. That, however, must be the subject of another lesson."

Incorrect. Unless you speak with a roosterney accent, it`s "a hospital" and "a hotel." If the letter h is pronounced, you use "a." If it`s not pronounced you use "an." So it`s "a hospital" but "an hour" or "an honorable person."

I get this, but the social media expert also needs social skills, something the others lack.

Haha, this is funny because not one pixel of that crappy image is true ... What`s a "social media expert" supposed to be anyway?

I don`t understand where they get the money symbols from. Who is a "social media expert" and why would anyone pay them anything since anyone in the world can use social media without any help from any consultants. I`ve never heard of a "social media expert" who gets paid anything by anyone. But maybe that is because I don`t work in a sales or retail industry

As part of the continuing war against erroneous pedants:

"It`s `a SEO "expert"`, unless he`s an hero. And I`m pretty sure this is not true."

SEO are initials, and therefore the normal rules regarding `a` and `an` don`t apply. Although one would normal use `a` for a word starting with a consonant, the letter `s` is spelled `ess`. Hence, the correct form of the indefinite article when referring to `SEO` is `an`.
Incidentally, it is `a hero`, but `an hospital` and `an hotel`. That, however, must be the subject of another lesson.
