Reminds me of the song, Down by the bay, where the watermelons grow. I always liked that song as a kid.

Shave a man`s back and he`ll purr like a walrus. I assume the same goes with bears.

Thanks Japan, you just saved my life from a downright kerfuffle if I ever stumble upon a bear shaving his privates.

    "So... what is this advertising?"
The company is a holding corp that deals in everything from paper products to clothes to heavy machinery (that happens to be for making solar cells.)
It looks like the things they sell mostly have to do with going green.

My guess is the two parts combined are a joke about shaving body hair to help with hygiene and advertises a line of low carbon footprint goods.

Say, Kitteh, does calling it a bear have something to do with the popularity of bear-print pantsu?

Thanks for using that analogy that we can all instantly relate to. I mean, who HASN`T shaved a man`s back and said "Gosh, that sounds EXACTLY like a purring walrus!"?

I dont think there are bears in Japan. Its obviously a person in a bear suite.

And yes I know this is a "well duh" comment. I am purposely pointing out the obvious.

Yeah, the thing I like best about the bear suites is the complimentary sockeye salmon in every room, the luxurious bed size, and all the free lint rollers.

Well just a little heads-up, I play Devils Advocate a lot on IAB, often argue the complete opposite of what I believe for the sake of a debate, and I`m joking/deliberately playing ignorant about 99% of the time. Just because I get a reference, doesn`t mean everyone does, so sometimes its a good idea to get a further explanation for everyone`s benefit.

I want to know what they`re REALLY advertising.

My guess is the clippers being used to trim (not actually shave) the bear. So durable that they can give a bear a neat haircut, so they`ll last for ages if you`re just using them on people.

    But...mushrooms?
