I just don`t add them as a `friend` and when they ask, I just say they sent it to the wrong person, etc.

i think the worst social networking thing to happen recently to myself was having my husband`s 75 year old aunt add me on facebook just so she could ask why my husband doesn`t use facebook... use a phone damnit!

As a rule, I just don`t do social networking sites anymore.

Did when I used to do `net radio but now that I don`t, what`s the use, really?

duffytoler: "I got news for you: your parents don`t want you to see their siht, either."

AMEN!!!!! I guarantee you my status updates would be way more interesting if I didn`t have to monitor for my kids on my FB -.-

My mom isn`t the problem, sadly. My aunts are. If I say one thing that sounds the least bit negative or something, they`re all like "HEY GUYS, YOUR DAUGHTER JUST SAID...."

^^ this. Mine`s worse -- my aunt likes to talk about the things I do with my GRANDMOTHER and various other relatives. And then I get an emotional e-mail from another relative telling me to get my poo together and how they`d hate to see me crash and burn and all that jazz. *facepalm*

My mom is on Facebook, so I sometimes have to not say some things that would just be awkward for her to read... so that`s what Twitter is for. Twitter is basically my Facebook status, but with more sex.

I remember as a status I wrote "Doing homework. Everyone in the house is shocked."

My mom responded with "You go Tom!"

I had a little chat with her later that night.

I am friends with my mom, two aunts, sister, and about 5 cousins. Thankfully I have them all on a limited profile, and thus they pretty much get to see nothing I do. It`s still annoying that I have to watch what I say in my status updates.

So even if my parents join my social networks I would`nt kill them. That`s is freaking ridicoulus. If u disagree than you should seriously consider about going to a doctor.

My mum has no clue how to use the computer, and my dad just visits football sites and porn.

I`m lucky?

I agree with Gerry. When my dad was alive he stalked me on every site I went to even though he lived a state away. He had control issues.

My mom`s afraid of the internet, which is a good thing. I still get yelled at for saying `crap`.

Gerry, you`re glad your mother is dead because now she can`t be online? You should probably work on your priorities, dude.

I call the loss of interest in social media "Social Fatigue".. More or less, we`re just sick of each other.

I think its kind of funny that people finally started realizing the obvious... if WE don`t give a crap about someone elses day, odds are that they don`t give a crap about ours.
Amazing.

Well you can always block your mom, so that would be your own fault for being a dumbass if she`s there and you don`t want her to be.
