I`m gonna have to have the IT guys at work unblock the "pornographic" (their filter`s term) IAB so I can see more of this fascinating content!

I noticed this first time I watched the movie. I didn`t think much of it at the time, but in retrospect, that was a bit of brilliance.

PPPS When Marty is riding his skateboard and grabs the back of a jeep to hitch a ride, the driver is Harrison Ford - recreating the scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark where an Arab pursuer grabs the back of Indy`s jeep.

when Marty went back and met his parents and got them together, do you not think when they got married and had him, when he reached the right age, they would recognise him? you don`t really forget the person who introduced you to the person you spend the rest of your life with....

PPS When Marty arrives in the past, the sign at the gate says "Peabody Farm" and the farmer`s wife yells out "What is it Sherman?"

Sherman and Peabody, of course, were the time-travelling duo from the Rocky & Bullwinkle Show.

PS: How many of you ever noticed THIS?

When the camera sweeps past the clocks in the opening credits of the first movie, one of them is a model of the Hill Valley clock tower complete with a Christopher Lloyd action figure dangling from the minute hand.

that is why bttf is among my favorite movie series. such attention to detail. everything correlates perfectly other than the fact that the "flux capacitor" is an instrument used in hospitals.

By the way, did you notice how after Biff gives the sports calendar to himself in the past, the future changed? MINDF*CK

Future Biff gave past Biff a sports almanac with the results and scores of every major sporting event in history allowing past Biff to bet on the games knowing the scores thus gettin super rich and powerful. Hardlys rocket science.....points scored for rocket science cliche? 10

Each and every scene in the BTTF Trilogy has something like this in it - the `differences over time in the background` were one of the major planning stages of the movies. It wasn`t just skateboards vs hoverboards, they literally planned EVERYTHING in the movie. For example, there are places where you see the same people as ordinary background extras, but made up as older and with kids now, and the kids are then seen in the Future movie 2.

"How did people not notice that? Damn people, be more observant.

The description of this should be: "Over 25 years later, kids are pointing out things that were obvious to the rest of us (and therefore needed no mentioning) all along, thinking they are special for doing so." "
i dont get it
In the first frame it`s the start of the movie, it`s Twin Pines Mall. Then Marty goes back in time and runs over a pine. At the end of the movie it`s Lone Pine Mall because he changed history. He took out one of the twin pines.

Not to be a smart@$$ but it`s pretty obvious.

"I saw this the first time I watched it, just like how in the third one the ravine is called "Clayton Ravine" after the woman that fell in, but changes to "Eastwood Ravine" after the woman is saved and the train crashes in (People assuming Marty went with it)."

That wasn`t really an easter egg...I`m pretty sure they point that out in the movie.

Seriously, it`s not exactly a huge detail - clever though it is - it`s the sort of thing someone points out to when you`re watching it and you go "Oh yeah. Cool". If you didn`t already notice it.
