Wow, people here don`t remember an airline called PanAm that had a 747 blown out of the sky over Lockerbie, Scotland? I`m thinking you can get away with anything these days. Just give it a couple of weeks and the masses will have forgotten and moved on to watch the next series of Dancing With the Stars.

well that is interesting
>i think technically he is right...they haven`t been on planes, they just took the planes and crashed them
>but then again the craziness x 25 you go through before you get on the plane is supposed to prevent it from happening. i don`t know why anyone would, usually the psychos that are up to bombing things go for larger crowds than would fit on a plane.

Have you heard of that other country? That huge one that isn`t Yoo Ess Ay?

I didn`t remember that I bought 2 1-liter bottles of the new (at the time) mountain dews (because I`m a HUGE fan of Dew.). They were on the OUTSIDE drink holders on my fluorescent yellow Adidas backpack and the TSA didn`t even realize it. I could have "Dewed" that whole plane!

Why don`t they just save everyone a lot of trouble and mandate that everyone fly buck naked and sans any sort of luggage. I refuse to fly unless there is no other way to get where I need to go. It`s just not worth it.

my moms friend got away with taking full sized perfumes on the plane cuz the security people dont always pay attention, she also had a face wash kit, but the security girl noticed that, but it cost $300 so the girl took out this thing that reads all the chemicals in the liquid

Idk if everyone`s forgotten, but the reason we can`t take a lot of liquid on flights anymore is because about two years ago the US government discovered a plot to blow up multiple planes over the Atlantic using only LIQUID EXPLOSIVES.

It would be quite easy to fill a snow globe with explosive liquids.

Know how to get around rules like this? Drive and/or take a boat.

I work at my local airport for TSA. The snowglobes are no longer for sale in the giftshops after security. the reason they are not allowed through is because they contain more than 3.4 ounces of water. Why would you need one in your carry on bags anyway? The truly sad part of all this is my airports public relations person, takes the snowglobes and donates them to kid`s charities. So you cant take it on a plane, but you can give it to an innocent little child. f**k my job.

Seriously... one of those things breaks on the plane and can you imagine what would happen when there`s a blizzard inside a plane in the air?... that`s how those things work right?

they actually haven`t been allowed on planes for a long time unless you get one that has a stopper in it to drain the water... i believe it has something to do with the pressurization in the cabin would make them shatter

Actually the terrorists won a long time ago.
They won when the government began security checkpoints and they won with all the propaganda people believed when they flooded the internet after the attacks.

the reason snow globes are not allowed is because the liquid inside of most snow globes is highly flammable. its pretty much kerosene

Hmm, I wonder how many x-rays are going to show up now with snow globes lodged in rectums? I know people will not give up their snow globing habits easily. It`s sad, really.

I was thinking about this kind of thing the other day, how stupid these things really are (airport bans, not snow globes). Well not as much stupid as futile. I really think that they are designed to increase the feeling of safety for the public, and have no real effect on the level of threat.

Meh, what good are metal detectors when your laptop battery should suffice in blowing a hole in the wall of the plane. That`d be all you needed, the difference in pressure should do the rest.

No shirt, no shoes, no snowglobes, no shadows, no oxygen. Soon everyone will have to board the plane naked or wearing only airport issued robes after a full xray scan and cavity search.

It not the terrorists that have won but the Corporate Fascists. The have attacked and are continuing to attack middle class America. They have corrupted all the the military and all government officials. This sounds like a conspiracy, but all you have to do is read the `white paper` of the group `Project for The New American Century`. American unemployment is high for a reason, where is the military going to get their "volunteers"?

End of rant/lecture

One can sit around and moan and complain, lose everything, or do something...

Hint, read history, its repeating...
