I`m so sick of Obama opponents using this argument. I mean really? Why don`t you just come out and say why you really are against him, whatever that may be. Don`t hide behind "I don`t think he`s a citizen."

Perhaps this means that Obama is actually a pretty good president, if this is the best the opposition can come up with. Then again, it could also mean that the opposition is stupid.

Obama`s Hawaiian birth certificate has been produced. It is signed and it had the official raised seal. The Republican Governor of Hawaii has backed it up. Court rulings have backed it up. Other various government agencies in Hawaii have backed it up. Seriously, no wonder conspiracy theories never die, people don`t give up!

Tay-Dor - its racist because despite the fact that REPORTERS HAVE HANDLED AND PHOTOGRAPHED HIS ACTUAL BIRTH-CERTIFICATE, these teabagger types continue this whisper campaign that he is really from Kenya and a Muslim. WHY? Because a certain percentage of America cannot accept that a legitimate black man is in charge.

Modern racists don`t explicitly say they hate ni**ers, INSTEAD they say he`s "Kenyan," *wink wink," and thus shouldn`t be their president.

You`re just pissed off that these people are your allies, and you`ll always have to deal with that.

"Its racist cos "OMG, someone disagrees with the holy savior, Obama!"

You can`t just "disagree" with documented, objective facts, despite how badly you want to, or how badly you wish the facts were otherwise.

Whats ironic about you is that while exhibiting reflexive anti-Obamaism, you somehow imply that people who call birthers racists have no basis to stand on. I don`t think you actually listen to our arguments, and instead just plug your ears, roll your eyes, and say "there go the Obama bots again!"

@Shnard-dog I am aware that certian groups use "code words" for their hate-talk. That in no way explains why I am a "racist" for opposing Obama`s plans to "redistribute wealth".
Anyhow, he`s half-white. Fact is that I, and many others, don`t care what his skin colour is, and are sick and tired of it being used as an excuse to deflect any & all criticism of him.

I`m going to post this again, Because people remain uninformed about the controversy.

    Are these real ?

It`s not racist to question a president`s "natural born citizen" claim. The supposed BC Obama shown was printed in 2007 with a laser printer, It is not the original long form BC (That`s Obvious Fact).

McCain provided his BC during the `08 campaign, His birth place would`ve caused the same sort of controversy, Only we`d be hearing from the other side had he won.

As I said before, Obama could settle this in less than a day and he doesn`t. He wants this `out there`, He wants to make `birthers` look like nuts and it provides the left with ammunition to hurl at the right. It`s distraction, The same thing magicians use on stage to keep you looking at their right hand while what`s really

it kills me how people can concentrate soooo much on something that seems so trivial compared to all the other stuff going on. worst case scenario: he is not American (because having a mother who is natural-born American and GROWING UP IN AMERICA are really just technicalities). OMG, democracy as we know it will crumble.
nevermind all the messed up things that people we entrust with our government do...including, but not limited to: thieving, lying, engaging with prostitution and other sins of fornication, puppy beating (i may have made that one up) and general misconduct.
in no way am i saying that every politician is like this. nor am i saying that just bc some are like this we should just ignore something as `trivial` as nationality. (bc someone will be arrogant enought to quote me out-of-context like that).
all i`m saying is that if you are really that concerned about the integrity of our nation`s electoral system, then you should consider 2000.

Honestly, I could give a rat`s patoot where he was born or any of that crap. Repubs and dems are both massively corrupt and neither party should have anything to do with running this country. The problem in America isn`t "bipartisan politics", it`s the two party system. Does it really matter who you vote for when your choices for president come down to a theocratic fascist or a gun-hating socialist? WE NEED MORE OPTIONS!

Ok, fine. If he really has no legal right to be president then why hasn`t the supreme court done anything about it?

So far, All the judges faced with these cases have dismissed them citing that he is a sitting president. The law concerning removing a president is quite clear, It`s via impeachment, trial and conviction by the congress. Even if the dismissed cases are appealed and It`s found he was born in Kenya, It wouldn`t automatically remove him from office.

Who cares?? Point is, he is the best thing to happen to your country in years! If he can fix the mess that some of the previous Presidents made and take out some of the hatred, ignorance and abuse of your citizens, then who cares where he is from?

Truth is that folks who oppose him are either racist or greedy bastards that only care about themselves. The sort of scum that would close an orphanage while twisting their mustaches.

The Obama issue is very telling about a person`s level of morality and decency.

almightybob1: anyone can put a `birth announcement` in a newspaper, It doesn`t require a BC to get announced either.

Yes, but nobody without the power of precognition would know that he was going to be the President. So it would not be faked.
In the 13 August 1961 edition of the local paper, the Honolulu Advertiser, it announced births in the local area, one of whom was the current President.

It is not legal proof of his birth, no.
But if it`s genuine, for whatever reason, then Obama is a naturalised citizen of the US. And for it not to be genuine requires that the conspiracy was planned since Obama`s birth.

The evidence is right there in the paper`s microfilm archives.

OK, don`t dive all over me, as I don`t know the facts. I don`t think it is a Birth Certificate issue, isn`t it that he was adopted by daddy Soetoro and as Indonesia doesn`t (didn`t at that time) allow dual citizenship he had to drop his US Citizenship and hence couldn`t run for Pres? I guess it`s a technicality at best, but if it`s fact then it`s Law. I don`t know enough about him or US laws, but I think that is more where the doubt comes from. Typical of people to bring race into it, are we not past that yet? He is as bad as the rest of them and will do nothing for Black Americans, you need to get past the image that a Black Pres is like some Magic man that will help everyone. Lets put it this way, who thinks, if he had the conviction of Martin L King, he would be Pres? He is a puppet like the rest of them.

...for it not to be genuine requires that the conspiracy was planned since Obama`s birth.

Actually, I`ve seen birth announced placed by grandparents into their local paper as a way of telling all their friends and acquaintances that they are new grandparents.

I`ve also seen death announcements placed in papers where the deceased formerly resided.

For an example, My dad had parents from different states. Both sets of his grandparents put announcements in their local papers. My dad wasn`t born in either state either, So there was a 3rd announcement placed where my dad`s parents lived. I`m sure this is pretty common.

    I`m not a `birther`, Btw.
As I`ve stated several times, I believe he has a real Hawaii BC. I just believe he`s hiding it to keep the controversy `out there` to make `birthers` look like nuts and as a means of distraction.

If his father actually did adopt him as a citizen of Indonesia, and they do not allow dual citizenry, then he in fact is not eligible for the presidency. Sorry folks.

I`m sure they have a good explanation. He wouldn`t have been allowed to run if this was true.

As much as I hate to say it, we have to let this one go.

First of all, that certificate is clearly not just a "laser printer" version. It has a raised seal and the signature of a *Hawaii state registrar* MEANING someone who can authorize a birth certificate HAS seen it.

... That is where it just get`s stupid.

If he was white, no one would be accusing him of having a fake birth certificate fabricated. How the heck does it make ANY sense that it would be fake!? At this point he could get all the doctors and nurses together who were present at his birth to vouch for his legitimacy and birthers would STILL be convinced he just couldn`t possibly be a citizen of the US based on *NOTHING*!

Also, Crackr, Obama doesn`t need to make the birthers look stupid. They do that all by themselves. -_-

Saying people only have a problem because he is not white is racist. You should be ashamed.

People had problems with McCain being born (on a US military base) in Panama. He`s white.

It has nothing to do with race. I could care less if he was a damn martian. I think this is a fabrication started by the democrats to cause a story, but that`s just me.

He wouldn`t be president if there were "truly" reason to doubt his citizenship.

Well if he was white, I doubt people would deny his legitimacy after being presented with a real, legitimate document proving his birthplace. It`s not racist of me to say that because I am not saying ALL white people are accusing him of that. Please learn what racism is before accusing people of it.

Yes, but upon seeing his birth certificate they shut up, didn`t they? They didn`t go on to say "IT MUST BE FAKE! HE CAN`T POSSIBLY BE A REAL CITIZEN!!!!!"

CrakrJak, It is possible that Obama conspired his way to the precipice of the world’s biggest job, involving a vast network of people and government agencies over decades of lies. Anything’s possible. But step back and look at the overwhelming evidence to the contrary and your sense of what’s reasonable has to take over.

Obama: I am senator on Illinois right now. I`d like to run for prez.

Michelle: Honey how will you get past the fact that you are a citizen of Indonesia, not America?

Obama: I know a guy in Hawaii. He can get me a birth certificate.

See pui. It wouldn`t take years, just a few moments.

If John McCain been president, There would be `birthers`. Like I said before, The `electors` decide who is president, After that it takes impeachment and a trial in the senate for a sitting president to be removed. I seriously doubt the American public has the stomach for another one of those so soon after Bill Clinton`s impeachment and trial.

    Here`s the difference pui.

John McCain was asked about his citizenship. He provided a hard copy (not a fax) of his BC, hospital papers, and military documentation.

Obama was asked for proof of his, and he provided a faxed copy, on fax paper, on just the front of his BC.

    That`s why there are questions.

It`s silly if it has no basis, not that silly if it is fact! His health plan is controversial to say the least, hasn`t pulled anyone from the Middle East and has spent more $$ then every President from George "W" Bush to George Washington combined.

Yes, the copy released is a "laser printed" copy. Do you know why? Hawaii went paperless in 2001. That means that his records are stored there long before he was elected to the U.S. Senate. It is exactly what every Hawaiian gets when they request their Hawaiian birth certificate. It is stamped by the Registrar. It has the official raised seal. It was investigated by the Health Department and confirmed. It has been confirmed by the Republican Governor of Hawaii. That`s it, it`s over.

You base your twisted theory off the fact that he hasn`t produced the original? I wouldn`t expect anyone to go above and beyond to quiet down a small group of nut cases who have an obvious agenda. Rational people have moved on a long time ago.
