My favorite japanese superbeing created against America was that one robot-was it Iron Man? (not the american cartoon iron man, but the old anime)-that was built as a weapon against America after WWII, but when the cartoon was brought to America, it was changed to just a giant robot that fought evil things.

"you all do know that in japanese culture all of these "monsters" represent westerners and western culture right??..."
Well godzilla WAS created to represent the atomic bomb, so you`re half right.

Most of the monsters after godzilla however were just made as things for him to fight.

To increase the nerdiness of this post even more, the monster in the post is baragon! Now if you excuse me I need to repair my glasses with sellotape and organize my comic book collection, alphabetically of course.

So, what iKit5 and S1gma are saying that it`s stereotypical to say that this picture is Japanese because it`s so strange. Right?

Even though that`s Japanese writing in the picture.

I mean, sure I can see how it could be misconstrued as stereotyping with the Japanese models and the guy in the rubber lizard suit. I mean, you see pictures like that taken in Russia or Spain or Germany all the time, right?

They point and laugh at all of our societal quirks (most think there`s something wrong about shaking a complete stranger`s hand) just as much as we do with theirs. The thing is to not think less of them for their differences. I know I don`t.

"It seems the only jokes IAB has left are ones about Japan, and racism/stereotyping."

And they`re just not funny, cuz IAB won`t stop using them:
-"Daddy.."
-"Chad..."
-"Japan..."

Seriously, fancy - new material.
