how is that not completely obvious? XD all the teacher would have to do is glance at your drink and see it has weird labeling. -__-
besides, the hour it spent you making it...you could...you know...just STUDY.
dumb.

We`re not allowed any labels on water bottles at our college. Sucks. Not that I`d even attempt a feat like this anyway, so no loss really.

I`ve actually had a teacher pick up my drink during an exam and check it for this kinda thing lol --I wasn`t cheating, thankfully.
Also, it`s not a good idea not to proof your bottle label...0.5 not 0,5L... XD still really cool...

That`s why, for my college exams, they only allow water bottles with the label removed. No other drinks. And no hats on the table either.

Not allowed soft drinks, labels or pencil cases (unless they are clear ones), or any eletronic equipment except if test allows calculators, in UK exams.

Female 833
and this is why in the UK you`re not allowed a label on your drinks bottle if you take it to an exam.

Clever but it`d have to be a bottle of water as that and stuff in a transparent pencil case were all your were allowed in exams when i was at school / college.

Yes doctor`s do have the privilege of time to look things up. They have nurse`s to give them the basics and then they consult a book based on their findings to diagnose."

Not all the time though, most E.R doctors don`t have time to stop and flip through a textbook when someone`s bleeding out on the gurney, but for general medicine like that, for sure! =)
I hope these people aren`t going into a working field where my life depends on them.
I`d like to know in what situations outside of examinations where you are not allowed to look at a book or any other source of information to answer any question. Granted, some jobs require people to know things by heart (doctors don`t have the priviledge of time to look it up, for example), but exams are just very disconnected from real life, mostly.

well the only thing we could take into exams was pens, pencils and a ruler. all handed out from a box on entry.

This works only if you are allowed to bring bottles with labels to the tests. And if you are, your teacher is an idiot :/

Female 1,798
@ rakoonhat: i understood perfectly what you said, but i wanted to say that, anyway :) i`m not an idiot, dear. and frankly, itt and those schools are complete scams, they charge upwards of $40,000 for a crappy education and i know a lot of government employees who won`t hire graduates from that school. it`s a real shame, actually...

Professor defeats entire class trying this by changing the Exam question to "What Are The Chemical Constituents of Coca Cola?"

@msieg007: doesn`t the professor get a little suspicious when you keep looking down and squinting? :p

@ ryanhake: I agree 100% :)

@ rakoonhat: actually, my college allows all of those things, and the professor usually leaves the room during exams. We`re under strict honor code, and if the cheater gets caught, he`s usually expelled or heavily punished. if anyone around him is caught for not reporting his cheating, they`re punished. that alone is incentive enough to not cheat.

Nothing beats the pro sheet. Just type it all out, put it in 5 pt font, cut it to size, and stick the little bugger in your pocket. Easy disposal when you`re done too. I`d be a bit nervous about having my cheats sit out in the open like this.

Female 654
too bad most colleges strictly forbid food and drinks as well as graphing calculators, hats of any kind, and the use of electronic devices. its very close to impossible to cheat unless your instuctor is a complete idiot

Majority of the classes that you would need to write down small equations like this for, the equations are used so often that you can`t forget them, ie kinetic and potential energies in this one.

Things like this is why my Med/Surg professor is insanely paranoid. I guess she polled her grad students on ways to cheat, and since then, she`s gone off the deep end

Or you could spend the time making the label replica into learning the small number of facts you can fit on a bottle.
0

Male 292
Haha thats kinda cool. Seems like it would take more time to make the label then to study what small amount you could fit into the nutrition facts though

Seems like even if your school does let bottles in, people would notice. If I were to cheat I would the cheats near my ankle, so I can put my ankle over my other knee, and read off it.

Uh yeah people figured that out a loooong time ago- it`s not genius, it`s old.

A better thing is to write on the inside of the label too, and as you`re writing your taste, drink it down to read the inside through the bottle. Or just drink water so you can see through it anyway.
