If anyone in I-A-B land can replicate this free-standing coin sculpture, we"d see to it that you get an I-A-B shirt.

when that coin second from the top of the lil triangle comes out, a lot of tears will be shed by the maker.

I am sure this started out as just the stack of coins in a circle...The a small scaffolding was put into place and the dome built on top, then scaffold removved...Like a real dome

I don`t care if it`s free standing or not, it`s still pretty awesome.

the question is not can it be replicated, but can it be done without the aid of glue?

Dip them in beer first and they`ll stick together better.

if anybody here has the money to do it, save yourself some time and just buy a shirt.

I`ve seen the full version of this picture. It`s made to look like a chair. I`m not convinced that it is entirely free-standing. This section may be free-standing but the rest isn`t. It is still amazing, but not as amazing as people think.

I could do it, if I could quick save and quick load in real life.

I tried something like this before... Needless to say, it failed. Do I get the shirt if I Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V the same picture into my post?

Woah epic dude, way to get involved in IAB. Congrats. Look everyone, not only did LazyMe make his OWN coin sculpture for this post, but he used the entire Canadian annual GDP to do it! Awesome!

Here`s about 27 pages worth of penny structures like this. The one posted here is on page 10...and page 25 has a pretty cool "time lapse" video showing the creation of a penny structure.
