You have it wrong...
it says..

"If you accept Jesus into your heart, close this book, pick up the bible and smack it over your head until you pass out".

I tried to read one of those `Choose your own adventure` books straight through w/o following directions. it was confusing for a bit and then really sad...the authors for some reason clump the death pages together.

"Page 72

The Old Man now pulls out some Jehovah`s Witness leaflets and demands you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.

If you think that this evangelism nonsense has gone too far, turn to page 99.

If you accept Jesus into your heart, turn to page 1,733.

Yes, we`re never going to let you out of this book until you do!"

"*closes book and drops out of school to live on the street* HA! I showed them!"

It was determined that you would write that... jokes on you.

The book forces you to comply with its hypothesis by creating a situation in which you have no "free will"...so i suppose it`s a bit satirical, or just psychological

Yeah Chesseman, the nature of page 72 is altered by our very observation of it.

Epic f*cking illustration. Just made my nihilistic afternoon.

Page 72 changes its contents depending on which of the ways you turn to it.

At the bottom of the page: If you shoot the old man in the face to prove him wrong, turn to page 65.

Reminds me of the Zelda book I read. Not the 72 thing but how you could turn to different pages. Neat!

Free will or no free will, for it to matter someone would have to know all information stored within the universe simultaneously, and that is by definition impossible.

So the way I see it, this pic is telling me that weather or not you think you have free will, it doesn`t matter, since your life will not change in the slightest.

And really, your life is the most you can ever have.

Sadly, it`s not from an actual book. That would be too awesome.
