"At least with the one child policy, the next generations in China will be (comparatively) small"

And even more so, because there won`t be as many women to have babies. Still, the one child policy has probably pushed many people to commit genercide: the aborting of female fetuses and commiting female infanticide.

"which will slowly end up solving quite a lot of their issues"

There are all kinds of problems being created too:

At least with the one child policy, the next generations in China will be (comparatively) small, which will slowly end up solving quite a lot of their issues, one would hope, as people will be needed to fill the skilled-labor jobs. This would, of course, greatly increase the quality of life of the average Chinese citizen.

I`d like to see some figures involving the male to female ratio of babies being born in China thanks to the one child policy.

"China... has their problems.
But at least they are efficient about their problems.
(Well, to be honest, China has so many people executing one is nearly unnoticeable)"

I bet their families would notice :(

I lolled at "government corruption" being a ground for execution. The U.S. would have a heck of a lot more executions if that were true...on the other hand do you see the income from clothing? That is mind-blowing, to say the least.

gunshot to the head would be much more efficient than housing them for 30 years, but man, they kill almost any kind of criminal! that sucks! my luck id get caught with a couple bowls and be sentenced to death

in america it is actually really expensive to execute people... if we did a gunshot to the head, like china, then it would be much cheaper

Chinese guy walks into a U.S. bank to exchange 1000 Yuan. He walks out with $150.00 US. The next week, he walks in with 1000 Yuan and the cashier only gives him $130.00 US. He asks why and the cashier says "fluctuations".

Obviously pissed-off, he grabs the money, storms to the door, and as he`s about to leave, he turns to the teller and yells "And fluck you Americans too!"

Guy and his wife are eating a Chinese restaurant.

The waiter asks the guy, "How do you like the duck?"

The guy responds, "The duck is rubbery."

The waiter smiles and says, "Thank you, sir! Your wife is rubbery, too!"

That was pretty interesting. I find it sad how China makes so much money, yet because of the population, most of them are so poor their lives essentially consist of farming rice to live. The big cities like Shanghai and Beijing are amazing places, yet Central China is so poor... I really want to visit it.

I`m no fan of capital punishment, but maybe if the death penalty was used elsewhere for `non-violent economic crimes` the world wouldn`t be in the mess it is today
