    Just some food for thought:

I always feel like it`s a little pretentious to say something like "science is the poetry of reality". The way I see it, reality itself is poetic, and science is the mechanical path to understanding it. The human brain deals better with concrete than abstract concepts, and science is a way to adapt the "poetry of reality" to better suit our ability to comprehend, but it is not, in and of itself, the "poetry of reality".

By the way, I love science. I just don`t see science itself as "poetic".

    Also this video was cool.

By the way, I love science. I just don`t see science itself as "poetic".

For something to be `poetic` it has to instill an emotional response, have harmony, etc., science can do this, despite being just a `mechanism of understanding`, but it depends on the person interpreting it.

    Madest:
    Science:
Invented by a theist, promoted by theists, developed by theists, in a huge part because of the literacy encouraged by theism.

    Take THAT madest. You`re welcome.

"Science replaces private prejudices, with publicly verifiable evidence" - Dawkins.
"Even when you proclaim to be a Scientist to promote those private prejudices" - Baalthazaq.

It was a good video, but autotuning + adding annoying music doesn`t make "Poetry".

    In other news:
    Autotune sucks.

I really don`t think that the basis of Science is going to be found in a song, I don`t think Science should be likened to touchy feely bullpoo like poetry.

Science is a methodology. A logical, boring, tool. That`s what makes it awesome.

Using it to berate others (madest) will do nothing except hurt science in the long run. If you want to promote knowledge/science/logic/etc maybe try simply showing the benefits of Science, instead of repeatedly (and wrongly, with much unscientific deceit) going "F*CK YOU! I`M A SCIENTIST! I WIN!".

This isn`t a big dick competition, and if it was a tape measure is more scientific.

You make science look like a Special Needs School for the Socially Inept. You`ve taken this magnificent concept, lied about it, took a massive turd on its principles, and turned people away from it.

    Well done. Really.

I don`t fully understand the idea of "science is the poetry of reality." I think that science is beautiful, but that particular metaphor doesn`t really strike my fancy. That being said, I think that the video found a lot of good clips expressing scientific wonder. :)

Was autotuning as bunch of boring scientists supposed to make them any more interesting?

Science is so cool. But I couldn`t pick ONE subject to get into for University, so I joined the military.

    Also, geology rocks. lol

Also, 2 atoms are in a bar, one says to the other "I lost an electron" the other asks "Are you sure? "to which the first replies "I`m positive!"

Also, a Neutron walks into a bar and orders a beer, the bartender looks at him, gets a beer, opens it and says, "For you, no charge"

    Hahaha... science is funny.

Science can never answer the more nagging and relevant problems in our lives, This is why many of the top scientists never marry or get divorced after only a few years.

This is the first auto tune video I`ve seen on you tube that I actually thought was clever and enjoyable.
I thought the Steven Hawking part in auto tune was amusing.
