"Well like the guy below me said, it was a jump by a staff sergeant, so it is probably one of those H.A.L.O military jumps meaning he jumped at a very high altitude and is going to parachute at a low altitude."
Most sports skydives - even tandems - are HALO jumps, they aren`t super special unless they occur above 14,000 feet or so where supplemental oxygen is required.
I believe that the airman was the passenger while Diablopilot was the tandem instructor. Diablopilot has something like 10,000 skydives in his logbook.
"Um, you could always just fly in a plane."
There`s a saying in skydiving: "If riding in an airplane is flying, then riding in a boat is swimming. If you want to experience the element, then get out of the vehicle."
Um, you could always just fly in a plane.

PLus, it`s way to small to be the Space Shuttle. If it was, this would be they would be jumping from 60 to 70 thousand feet. Yeah, that does not happen out of the millitary and NASA.
And then agan, they wouldn`t do at cape canaveral on a launch day.
You sir, fail.
Lets look at these pictures:http://www.snopes.com/photos/space/shutt...

There is NO plane which opens a hatch at 70 thousand feet to let people sky dive Over cape anaveral on a Space Shuttle Launch date. It doesn`t ha
